Music is subjective until the tools you use are removed completely from nature/ human touch. Then no, it's not exactly the same. If you brought me a naturally occurring rat and one made in a lab, and I said the lab one isn't a real rat, would you say that is subjective? There is obviously still some human touch and nature through electro but it's not even a shadow of what music should be . Keyboards and electro music is for UK nerd fags

Are you implying electronic music makes itself without human aid or creative output?

I'm saying while you are making it, it comes from a different part of your brain than , for example, playing a flute and looking at a sun set, or playing those weird wind pipes while your tribe plays crazy war drums. It's a complete shadow of that. It's pretty much recreating it in an unnatural way.. They found the common chord progression that bring the biggest human emotions and they stick to it and focus on just manipulation and glitching. This music production applies to rock bands too now a days... All music is just fucked essentially but at least they were playing an instrument while it was recorded

Bring The Noise
This is a classic tune, and if you haven't heard it before, as a wise man once said, you need to learn some facts.

Whoa, what the fuck! Shroomery failed to load a whole string of messages earlier, my bad. That wasn't meant to be to you at all.

It's obvious you don't produce music so why are you talking like you're an authority on how it works haha. Honestly, you probably don't even play a "real" instrument at a high level either. Anyone I've ever met who is a talented musician can respect wide arrays of music, even those made on unconventional instruments/objects/machines or whatever. You're also talking as if all music made with samplers or a computer involved sounds the same, which simply proves your own ignorance. Saying they all use the same progression and stuff... You HAVE to be a troll.

LOL, I remember when that track was huge & got played at every dubstep night. That & the other Babylon System one... Dancing Shoes? The "calling all dancers" track. I didnt get as excited about those as most; not a fan of the reggae vibe.
Here's a tune that I listened to through this past summer & absolutely loved. I just heard it in a cell phone commercial last night and was like LOLWUT. Did not realize it was so big. But it's a great one.

[SAMPLE TRACK -- FULL ALBUM & REVIEW BELOW]
Sweet Trip - Velocity : Design : Comfort
"Sweet Trip's second full-length, Velocity : Design : Comfort, is an intoxicating blend of indie pop melody, shoegaze-style sonic overload, and electronic drum'n'bliss. A dense and sprawling record, each song is layered with skittering, glitchy drumbeats, distorted and broken sounding synths, hazy shoegaze guitars, and the blissful vocals of Valerie Reyes. Main Sweet Tripper Roberto Burgos has crafted a record that is overflowing with small details and sonic surprises that make each song a delight and add up to push the record into minor classic status. It may sound like empty hyperbole or press pack tomfoolery, but at its best, Sweet Trip truly sounds like what one might assume Kevin Shields would sound like today if he could ever manage to get his act together. Their sound is woozy, dreamy, deeply emotional, and extremely unpredictable. Songs like the epic "Velocity" or "International" are so packed to the brim with sound and adventure that every listen will leave you shaking your head at the sheer beauty and sonic achievement involved. Some of the other tracks that will have you jumping up and down with happiness are the glitchy "Dsco," a track New Order in its prime would have killed for, pulsating with overdriven synths and Burgos and Reyes' angelic vocals, "Dedication," a careening blast of noisy drums and breathtaking melody, and the simply stunning "To All the Dancers in the World, a Round Form of Fantasy," which stretches sound in all sorts of wonderful ways and is actually the most MBV-sounding track on the album. Most likely this record will disappear from view without a trace, but it really shouldn't. It should be at the forefront of the charge being led by bands like Manitoba, Four Tet, and Dntel, which make very forward-thinking records that confound expectations and don't leave the past (i.e., melody and songcraft) behind. Simply put, Velocity : Design : Comfort is one of the most interesting and best records of 2003; you really should check it out."

Tune below is by some Australian kid who's got some impressive productions to her name. The rap vocals in this one aren't great, but they're not bad either, but they're mostly unimportant when weighed against the beat itself. Shit is crazy good; starts out borrowing the "organ donor" sample and then it just morphs into this lush thick synth beast. Recommended.
