Pillow case tek?

I've been using the pillow case tek. But my contamination rate is high. I fill a pillow case with substrate. I bring water to 180. I put the pillow case in an insulated cooler. I dump the water in. This brings the substrate to a temp of about 160. I let it sit for an hour. I don't understand how this tek can go wrong. But I'm looking for opinions (don't tell me it's my spawn).
Anyone else do it this way? Is there a better way? Is there something I'm missing? Thanks guys looking forward to replies.

I second this. I have been using it with great results.

It looked, like he didn't add any water to substrate before beginning? also, seems like a pillowcase would be a fine substitution? As well as any large enough pot that is not a pc? I have no substrate bags, and only one pc. It would take along time to do BULK with this method. But I'm gonna try it out with a pillowcase and my pc this week. Thanks for the suggestion. I don't understand why this would work better than any other bulk pasuerization tek. As you're still just heating the entire mass to about 160 for an hour. But, I'll try anything once

Use the bag method. I do my bulk with this tek in galon ziplock bags... If you bring it to field capacity before putting it in the bags you will be doing it correctly. With this I easily and properly pasteurize enough for a 66qt monotub at the 4" line all at once. Not saying the pillow case is not proper, just seems like it would take to long waiting for it to drain out and not getting that rapid cool down.
