Possible Subbalteatus?
    #18782484 - 08/31/13 07:00 PM (10 years, 4 months ago)

I found a "fairy circle" of mushrooms growing on a field at a nearby elementary school. I am personally interested about whether or not they might be hallucinogenic, but I'm also thinking it might be important to inform someone if they might pose a threat to the students during recess.

Habitat: grass field, possibly recently fertilized
Gills: light tan in color, mostly adnexed, some possibly free
Stem: thin, tan, and sturdy, some have obvious lines traveling up the stem
Cap: tan, mostly convex, flat in older specimen
Bruising: no visible bruising
