QFT!
Most of my experience with having glass tanks drilled is that a majority of them use a tempered glass bottom. It will shatter immediately. Tempered glass hates being altered with holes. Get a plastic tub. Most are in the $6-12 range.

Ebay can be a great resource. However whats in the picture and whats in the box when you get it sometimes differs. I picked up my 16qt vintage presto from ebay. "Works great" it said. I paid almost $40 for shipping, because of the size...over 2 weeks later I still did not have it, and by the 3rd week when I finally got it, the label stated that it cost $12 to ship. I appreciate and pay for handling time, but tracking info showed it only took 5 days to get to me....Gaskets were shot, and there was no jiggler included...I guess that it fell out of the bottom of the poorly made box somewhere in shipping. After a few heated messages with him and ebay, I was refunded the difference of the shipping, and boy was he pissed about that. Probably not as pissed as I was, but that is no way to do business.
After it was said and done, I paid as much as a brand new unit after all the gaskets and jiggler and shipping on them was covered. Start to finish it was over 1 month in trying to get a PC cheap.
The only thing I got out of that ordeal is a super cool vintage yellow pressure cooker. I guess I can't complain lol.
I would seriously suggest you look at new items. Its less headache. MAKE SURE it will do 15 psi and has a gauge that tells you 15 psi. As for size, I think the biggest suggestion is making sure there is enough head room for full quart jars. A 16 qt presto fits 7 quart jars nice. I don't know IF smaller models will have enough head room, but that with cost would be how I would make a purchase.
I can't say much for the AA models, I've never been around one....but they sure do look nice as shit!

I'm a noob myself, but I highly recommend this book:
http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/psilocybin-mushroom-handbook-l-g-nicholas/1110896530?ean=9780932551719
Read it front to back (it's a short read, but very informative), and I would also recommend purchasing several canisters of the Lysol wet wipes for sterilization when you inoculate your jars. I used the "oven method" and used those wipes to clean every surface in my kitchen prior to inoculating and it went perfectly. A hefty spray of Lysol around the kitchen and in the oven 30 minutes prior would be helpful too.

Don't stockpile anything. It has been a bad idea. Just get your stuff when you need it. If you have to do something just save up for a big pressure cooker and some syringes and needles. If you move you end up not having to carry stuff you can just buy it.

If it was a presto or a mirro, for that price you got ripped off.
If it was an AA for that price, it was a steal.

Can you explain how that is "bad info"? I spent many an hours reading guides and threads on here, along with some other sites; and was told numerous times that book is incredibly useful for first time growers and a great reference to have handy. I understand nothing moves faster than the internet, but as a first timer with very little knowledge when I decided to give this a shot I found that book to be awesome.
Not that I discount the knowledge of anyone on here, because I've received great tips and suggestions; but the knowledge of a professional is invaluable. I'm not trying to start a flame war at all, I just don't see how recommending a book to someone is "bad info". If walking into a store and buying a good old-fashioned book is too archaic for someone; then hell just download a PDF of the book or buy it digitally.

Where can you find a presto cheaper? I'm all about shopping around but it seems like your going to pay that much if its in shipping or just flat cost seems like they are about the same. I'm open to suggestion, or if you can point me in the right direction to get a deal. I had to spend more than I wanted on my spores, so I'm holding on my pc.

Lysol does not sterilize, it says right on the can "Surface Sanitizer"....nothing about sterilization...
The "oven method" is bad practice....it is also a good way to get a contam...I know I know...it worked for you this time....but what about next time?
A simple search here with the term "oven method" will return a massive amount of failure attributed to it.
If you do not have access to a laminar flow hood, the next best thing is still air, not an oven that is constantly blowing everything around your work from the heat currents.
