A fish tank is no good for this hobby really.
Plastic bins that can be drilled into multiple times are better.
Start here.

Depending on your chosen technique, the main equipment can vary a lot.
Pressure cooker is good place to start. Cleaning supplies: Bleach, hydoPerox, Alcohol, gloves, face mask, lysol neutra air.
Plastic totes for Fruitting Chambers, glove box, incubator, storing supplies.
Jars, PP5 containers, petris or small jars, grain bags if you like, slants
Scalple, inoc loop, syringes if you want.
RTV silicone, polyfil, tyvek sleeves, misting bottle, small fan, foil, gypsum, grain. . .
Fish tank is ok for Still Air Box but totes are lighter and mod-able.

Purchase the videos instead of watching on youtube and it will be the best money you'll spend on cultivation.
You should be able to acquire most supplies at local pharmacy, grocery store, hardware store, hydroponic store, etc.

a plastic tote is way cheaper than a glass bit. Also, you'll, most likely, crack the glass on the first try, which aquariums are expensive. I paid over $100 for my terrarium, which can't hold water.

Pressure cooker is what I'm saving for.. Keeping an eye out at garage sales but it costs as much as a new one to ship one you find on Craigslist. eBay seems like a good place to look.
Anyone have any advise on size of pressure cooker? Would love to have a big all american pressure cooker but I can't afford. What's a good price point?

I got my AA930, which holds 14 quart jars, for a bit over $300. My 925x All American sterilizer runs around $800+ and holds 10 quart jars without the insert.
I won't preach any other PC than an All American. They're a bit more initially, but the quality assurance and longevity of the PC is worth it without a doubt.

This is going to sound like a weird question...But can you stick a magnet to the bottom of your AA's and let me know if it sticks. Reason I ask is because I want to move to induction cooking for my lab. My current PC does not have a steel plate across the bottom so it will not work for induction.

They're all spun aluminum, so it shouldn't work. I can check in a few days.

This part I know, according to the induction cookers though some of them will have a steel plate across the bottom to help heat up the pot. I mean it could be BS to get me to buy the thing but its worth checking. I appreciate it, no rush.

I highly doubt there is one, since it takes 20 minutes at least for the 930 to heat up.
