I've had no luck finding actual Brown Rice Flour, but I've heard using regular brown rice that's been ground up in a coffee grinder works too. I have both rice and grinder, but I wasn't sure if using the grinder that's already been used on coffee beans would contaminate anything. Any advice?

I had the same situation.  Just wash out the grinder well whenever you switch from one to the other.  Never had any in-jar contamination.

Good luck!

I checked every major grocery place in town and couldnt find it. Then one day I went to a locally owned place to get some beers and I figured it wouldnt hurt to look. And right there in the flour section they had brf. I cant remember the name exactly but it was something like red mills?

Other than that you could check some organic food stores and they would probly have it

If you're using a PC, I wouldn't even wash it.  A little coffee helps quite a bit if it's properly sterilized.  And yes, please do grind your own.  It's much cheaper, it works just as well if not better, and at least for me it makes me feel more involved in the whole process.  I like the idea of taking whole, unprocessed rice, rocks and some water and making it into something much, much better.

Any type of grain flour will work.
I've had many successful grows with Rye Flour.
But, yes, you can grind it down to a powder.
