I know mycilium can generate heat, so what's the lowest they can withstand at night? If it's in the upper 80's in they day and ~60's at night will they still be ok? Would this maybe help them fruit even ala cold shock? They're already in the ground consolidating, and the temps are fine as of now, but most of my beds haven't fruited yet and within the next month or so it's supposed to be getting cold out, at least during the night.

I don't have a wealth of knowledge to offer you on this, but you could fruit in the 60s no problem.

Well looking at the forecast a month from now it's predicted to be roughly 57 at night and iirc low-mid 80's in the day, I don't know how that's reflected on the actual soil temperature though. I'm just wondering whether I should still be spawning outside in the coming month and at which point it's better to move it indoors. Do you guys know what's the minimum temperature for outdoor growing? Would it be best to start spawning to a more sunny spot near the end of the month perhaps? Can mushies withstand a slight ground frost for that matter?

A follow up question if you guys don't mind. I have a few small patches outdoors. One is under a tree with good shade, the other is partially under the tree and partially out (depend where the sun is, iirc it's shaded most of the day). These stay fairly moist and if anything I've probably been overwatering them so I'm going to leave them alone for the time being, I just got a good flush off the first one I spawned, the one that's fully shaded.
The other one gets a good amount of sun, but is surrounded by weeds which I figured would keep the humidity up and perhaps the sunlight would encourage evaporation too. Also I noticed the bugs do not seem to care for these weeds at all, there are no bite marks at all so I was hoping they might also deter pests.
The last one is simply in a sunny spot in the grass, though it does seem to hold water rather well (it's hard for me to mist with the hose due to the location), and likewise it does actually get a reasonable amount of shade anyway depending where the sun is, maybe only a few hours of direct sunlight a day. The sunniest patch is probably in the weeds. So basically what I'm wondering is sunlight bad for them so long as the patch doesn't dry out? Also do you think it's a bad idea to pull some of the surrounding weeds and use em as a casing layer to further create a humid environment and possibly deter pests as well? They're green so eventually they'll start to decompose, but they seem rather hardy and the type of plant that would dry up before it actually rots so I can't see it causing much of a problem. This being my first outdoor crop though I don't really know.
