Question about Hpoo vs. Coir tek

Hello,
I've been using roadkills hpoo tek and I feel as if I am doing everything right, proper pastuerization, the drying of the manure. But after following the guide word for word it seems that every time I use fully colonized birdseed spawn into the pasteurized hpoo, after that it's squeezed to field capacity, as it says in the tek. The first week it colonizes great and then after about a week in the FC I notice green mold specks on the surface. If you catch it early is it possible to use a sterile knife and extract it and replace with new substrate or should I just dump the whole casing altogether? ..after the first week I then I notice about a week later right as it starts pinning Trichoderma green mold. I've harvested shrooms from casings that were contaminated but the contamination was nowhere near the shrooms and they looked healthy and gave a very nice trip w/ no sickness. From what I hear the real danger comes form inhaling the literally billion of trich spores into the lungs that is the danger, correct me if im wrong.
Any help is appreciated.

i always seem to get mold when i make attemps at doing casings with coir/poo. Im so intimidated by anything but pf cakes im such a n00b. i really want bigger yields and to experiment with other species besides cubes but my n00bishness wont go away. ive done like 15 pf tek grows now all successful too but I wanna take it to the next level.

Yeah, but bulk grains are the way to go imo. They colonize so much faster and the yield is way more plentiful. But when it comes to substrates like coir and poo it just seems like a hit or miss. Most of the time they appear really healthy then I put them into fruiting conditions and right as I notice pins I see green mold starting to take over. Are there any other substrates that don't mold easily like say woodchips for cbs? I'm very sterile about my procedures and followed the tek word for word I just cannot fathom why they are so suceptible to mold at that stage. Maybe the humidity is getting too high or perhaps there was too much water in the poo. Oh well, I can always bury it outside in some straw and Hpoo and hope for a harvest.
Peace

Imo for cubes coir/verm substrate is the way to go. It is so easy and coir performs so well and is so contam resistant. Whats not to love!

couple things
1. What ratio of spawn to substrate are you using? The less spawn to substrate the longer it takes to colonize and leaves room for contaminates to settle in.
2. How is your moisture/humidity if its very high then you might want to lower it.
3. Yes you can take fruits off an infected grow with trich. The biggest problem is that you chance disturbing the trich which if already sporealating (turned green) will send spores all over your grow area. That's the main concern, contaminating your grow area. Seeing how you continue having this issue that may have already have happened.
4. I have also read that it maybe from your spawn its self. I forgot how it was explained but basically you are introducing your grow to trich from the spawn its self.
5. You never want to cut into or try to remove trich. If its early on in its development your supposed to pour salt on the area affected. Look it up.
Im a new grower as well these are things that have been suggested to me or that I have read using the search function..... its your friend.
Also this is what trich looked like in one of my tubs early on before it went buck wild on my shit.

6. One other thing I noticed, was a sweet smell to my tub while colonizing. You should only smell mushrooms and that's it. I lost this tub due to my own impatience. I believe the problem was not allowing my substrate to cool down enough and it killed my spawn. I made two tubs using same formula of hay and hpoo the one was successful the other was not. Infact the substrate wasn't even fully colonized after almost 2 weeks when my other was 100% after a week.
I dumped this tub outside and buried it... and so should you. I noticed the lack of colonization when I dumped it out... don't go digging around in trich in your grow area.
