cobweb mold during fruiting : is there hope?

hi, 帥哥 just birthed his cakes. his PMP terrarium had too much water, and the water pump wasnt powerful enough. within a day and a half, clear indications of cobweb mold began to appear. he has since removed some water from the PMP and added a much better air pump, as well as more holes in the top for improved FAE. he has sprayed his cakes with 5% solution of H2O2, as well as his terrarium. he will find out in a few days whether the measures he took will be successful, as there is clear indications of mushrooms beginning to fruit, but he is still curious as to forum users input/past experiences combating cobweb mold. what do ppl here think? is there hope? how have you dealt with cobweb mold during the fruiting stage in the past?

You sure it wasn't just mushroom mycelium? You can get some unusual growth sometimes in those kind of conditions, may not have been what you were expecting to see.

maybe its not cobweb? this is his first grow, so his ability to differentiate btwn mold and mycelium perhaps is limited. his original PMP had lots of water, and only one small airpump+air stone and one hole for air exhange. this was his setup for about a day and a half. 帥哥 suspected that in that time, cobweb mold couldve infected the mushrooms. however, takng another look, the cakes seem quite healthy. little mushies are beginning to sprout out. he is extraordinarily excited and inspired by this first growing experience, whatever the outcome maybe. hopefully contams stay are contained and flushes come soon

I was panicked when I had my first run in with cobweb, it was a BHT monotub. The surface was completely covered with it.
I had remembered the H2O2 treatment. I sprayed that tub heavily daily, and to my happy surprise my tub was completely saved.
Cobweb almost literally dissolves upon contact with the H2O2.
