Rely on total weight instead of the size of the shrooms. Lots of small shrooms are the same as a few big ones.

My first flust of my first crop is commin thruogh now. The caps have not separated from the stem yet. The biggest one is about 2 inches and they hay been up for about 5 days now. Is this sounding right so far. How big should they get. and how long should it take them to grow to full size. It just seems rather slow that is all. Oh the strain is P.cubenis B+ I think. Got the print from The ones that stain blue???????????????

Hey kbone, that is a good sign, it means you did a good job of casing, if you cased. if you want bigger mushrooms (you will get less overall) you need less pin heads, because with more pinheads, there is more competiton for nutrients so a lot of small mushrooms grow, but if there are fewer mushrooms, the ones that are still growing grow larged, catch my drift?

The size varies from huge to small. Sounds like you have no worries at all
