Well, congress has been on vacation since Aug. 5th...

...The summer recesses for both the House and Senate will start Aug. 5 and last five weeks — until the Monday after Labor Day.

House Majority Leader  releases rather embarrassing scheduling without a single 5-day work week or weekend.  If you are already feeling riled up about this, I would not suggest looking at the month of August.

Don't forget Eric Cantor's calendar , where  Congress will get 239 "vacation days" in 2013....:doublefacepalm: . . . :peace:

So much chaos in the world, who are we supposed to believe?

How can one have an opinion?

What we're hearing and seeing about Syria is only what we're "supposed" to see. What is REALLY happening? Are there other reasons we might want strike on Syria?

If innocent people are dying, it should be stopped. Simple.

It's very difficult to have an opinion, "what is really happening?"  That's a tough one, but oil and energy are the main issues, it has nothing to with chemical weapons.

"If innocent people are dying, it should be stopped. Simple." I agree, but let the people in the country or region do it, not the US.

Word, good call.

But....if they do not? Then who will? And when?
So many questions, so little time (or so much time?)...so many people dying.

Too much intake!
When will it stop.
Mom's gonna fix it all soon, anyhow.

I agree, 100%!
My issue is, if we are so concerned with saving the innocent, why didn't we step in against Joseph Kony and his child soldiers in Uganda, and why haven't we stepped in in the DRC, or South Sudan? This guy and his "soldiers" (brainwashed children with guns) rape, kill, and pillage everyday. Why don't we step in there? If we're so concerned with helping the innocent, we should have been in Africa long ago.
I'm not saying we should let people die in Syria, I'm just saying that our government shouldn't have a double standard. They only care about Syria because the government has interests in the region. Fuck them! What about all of the innocent dying in other parts of the world? Koney literally has those "soldiers" of his kill their fathers and rape their mothers to start off. Total sick bastard, and we do nothing.
If if were in the military, and I'm not confirming that I am. I would be more willing to save the innocent in Africa than fight an Al Qaeda civil war in the middle east.

Fighting a war for humanitarian reasons is intrinsically doomed/fucked up. In war collateral dammage is a guarantee. How is it going to look when the intelligence gets hazy and a bomb drops on a suspected target that turns out to be a school? This is a really bad PR move for America, and i think the UK's unwillingness to join is just a precursor.

I mean if our very best allies don't fully support us anymore, whats that mean?

Well played obama

APNewsBreak: Obama weighs Egypt aid suspension

Obama foreign policy is a fucking disaster .  Wonder if they might close the Suez or let terrorist car out an attack..

I bet this has nothing to do with Egypt's stance on Syria considering Egypt's recent statements on the matter.

If only US spend a quarter of its military budget to fix itself, maybe shitholes like Detroit wouldn't exist. USA is a one giant hungry military driven corporation that loves to over throw foreign governments while raping their natural resources and installing the world bank. History repeats itself once  more.

Every single one of them support military invention in Syria. While trying to "tighten gun laws"  tax ammo and firearms. Cause you know criminals .  Democrats :retawed:

Sign your petition to say "NO!" to war in Syria! To your Representative and both Senators
