Mosquitoes like dark colors so don't wear reds or blacks.
they also love those who work out as they taste better.

Carry a dryer sheet with you when you go outside, and /or use Off! Spray.

The mosquito's this year are terrible around here. They are huge and hurt when they bite. And they swarm worse than I've ever seen.

Ive seen more this year than any other time.

When I had the dryer sheets hanging up outside on my patio, I didn't experience as much but now I just spray that Off! Stuff in the air before I go outside but at night it seems they really come out.

All over Ohio and Michigan the past couple years. Feels like getting bit by a horse syringe.

Man mosquitoes really fuck me up. I have something in my blood that attracts them or I'm allergic, I don't know. I can be right next to my brother or pops and I'll get bit 5 times before they get even 1, and those bites fuckin' swell up too. They become big huge lumps looks like a family of mosquitoes just had a blood orgy on my arm but nope, it was just one bite. At this point I have pretty much built up a mental tolerance against the little fucks, I try to get them before they get me but if I get bit I don't itch it much I just deal. Sucks though, I really fucking hate mosquitoes.

If you don't scratch the bite it will go away a LOT faster

When I get mosquito bites they don't really itch for very long at all any more, I think I've built up an immunity from being bitten so many times. My kids get big red marks that stick around for a few days.

Certain areas of Dallas aren't too bad.
Unfortunately my backyard has tons of vegetation, and slightly higher humidity than the surrounding areas.
As a result, my backyard is teaming with mosquitoes.

I like to hang outside by the pool, but once the sun starts to set I have to go inside or else I'll be eaten alive.

I grew up in the MidWest (as well as being outside a lot) and was used to getting bit every day from march-october but at some point, I think during high school, I noticed I hadn't been bit in a while. And now ~10 years later I still don't think I've been bit since before then  I must not taste good

Only thing that ever bites me anymore is ants sometimes. When I think about it, I haven't been stung by a wasp or bee in years, either.. even a sweat bee.

I have been seeing way more mosquitos this past week than I have the rest of the year. Once the sun goes down they cover the windows.

I've been seeing a lot of hornets the past week too, enough to make me wonder where the nest is.. hopefully cold weather comes soon enough to where I won't have to do anything.

On the other hand, I've seen more hummingbirds in the past month than I've seen in probably the last 5 years.

I don't notice many big ones, just a lot of baby sized ones.
