Post Your Predictions For The Future of Mankind in 25 years

An interesting question popped into my head.... What will the world be like in 25 years? Will quality of life increase or decrease? Will everyone have iphones implanted in their brains? Will the world be plagued with even more war over resources? The future of marijuana? etc

Marijuana will probably be legal in a lot more states and a lot more countries.
Quality of life will probably improve or it could potentially decline, it's quite hard to say as it isn't a general question as everyone is in different scenarios. No matter how much things improve there will still be bums and people who deem their life as pointless. 25 years is also quite a long time and 25 years ago people probably wouldn't have estimated life to be how it is today.

Well, the artificial intelligence is going to take over and attempt to destroy all the human race. Skynet will start sending AI assassins back in time to destroy the bloodline of the human resistance leader.
But eventually Kyle Reese will save Sarah Connor who will give birth to John Connor and the world will be saved, yet left in ruin from nuclear holocaust and John Connor will have to reunite the human race as leader.
Trust me, it's gonna happen. I saw it.

It seems all your predictions are pretty damn reasonable! I just hope science doesn't take us too far (probably already has) and allows some evil people to make a super virus that could kill us all If that doesn't happen then I'll have holographic porn and super engineered psychedelics

4. Depends on the tank size. I seriously doubt we will see many cars over 60mpg. I could see hydrogen becoming more popular and availible 10. doubt it, there is too much money in treating it 20. Africa has and always will be a shithole. That is unless all of china relocates.
Not arguing about others, but I think 25 years is a bit optimistic for many of those.

Following a worldwide economic collapse the likes of which has never been seen, regulation of industries will cease to exist and true capitalism will emerge from the smoldering embers of failed socialism. As the prison industrial complex begins to fail (thanks to the legalization of drugs), it will turn to the unregulated capitalists for fodder. Indebtedness will then be repaid through forced labor at prisons across the US.
After a highly-positive precedence being set with the legalization of marijuana and later on cocaine, other hard drugs, and prostitution, the government will decide that the way to combat the last bastion of the black market by taking over their last real money maker, human trafficking. Thanks to the imprisonment of those in debt, a precedent for this will have been established as well. A new slave trade will take over, women from indebted families will be given out as sex slaves, men will be sent to prisons for hard labor that will directed as a means to improve the failing infrastructure of the country. Illegal immigrants will be sent to China as part of a payback arrangement. Mexico will let it happen because they'll be raking in big money from the legal drug trade.
Japan's nationalist rise will culminate with a hostile takeover of N Korea (and subsequently a treaty with S Korea), Taiwan, the Philippines and then onto China's Southern front via Vietnam, Cambodia and Loas. China and the US will then put Japan in check, but the Japs will the foresight to take the slap on the wrist while maintaining control of neighboring islands, prepping for round II.
Thanks to fracking, Saudi Arabia and Iran will be in a stranglehold of economic woes and the entirety of the middle east save Egypt's new secular government and Israel, will be in for some shit times. They'll blame it on the Western countries and up the ante in Europe., where the Muslim agenda will begin to speed up and in response a series of restrictions on Islamic practice will spread throughout the EU, spearheaded by Germany. Tensions will rise and a the US will aid the EU in preventing an all out war between the Middle East, N Africa and Europe via ground troops.
That's about where the 25yr mark ends.

Over population will cause quality of life to go down. At the rate were currently growing, in 50 years the Earth will be inhabitable.

You mean uninhabitable?
IMO the problem of overpopulation is vastly overestimated by many. This country, in particular, is mostly comprised of empty space. There is plenty of room for new settlements to form and grow, and with industrial agriculture the chances of us hitting a real food shortage are slim to none. The real problem of overpopulation comes from pollution. China and India are the major culprits as they have prioritized their growing economies over environmental responsibility; they burn garbage for fuel, their factories belch out noxious fumes that have blanketed urban centers, and the growing middle class insists on having cars just as we do.
