I'd go to the bar if I were you, or really, I'd go to the store and just drink at home because benzo w/d makes me hate everything and everyone.
:knowthatfeel: and
How much/what were were you using? If you don't mind talking about it (but completely understand if you don't)
I've been using etizolam lately instead of my Rx'd xanax+ativan and its been a lot easier for me to taper down. Hell, I went three days without any at all just to see how bad it would be and was blown away with how little I was both craving it and feeling the w/d. I also have only been dosing it at night, and I haven't been able to (willingly) do that in years. To sum it up (before I start ranting , I've been doing pretty well lately
As for me, I'm sitting here smoking weed and parliaments too. The menthols. And having this awesome IPA that a "local" (~50 miles away) brewery, in a town of maybe 1000, started making very recently. Mouthfeels a little thin, but I was blown away the first time I tried it. Taste moves from fruity pebbles to tropical citrus and finishes deliciously pine-earthy. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Chrisman, how are you doing with the meditation challenge?
I've started it numerous times but fail to keep with it.
My damn (upper) spine is so crooked, it hurts to get in a decent position. But I guess thats part of the point right, learn how to deal with pain?

I haven't been keeping up with it consecutively very well. I'd say I probably do it 50 percent of the days or so. If you're having posture problems, you might try different heights of pillows to put under your butt and try adjusting your posture different ways. It's pretty uncomfortable at first, but it becomes pretty easy after a while. It's a good healthy posture and good limbering stretch.

Fuck there was just a whole shitload of water pouring out of the ground right in the corner where my ganja plants are. The whole side of the yard is kinda flooded. I guess the neighbor had some problem with his fish pond. I don't know why his fish pond water was flooding out of the ground in the yard though. That doesn't really seem right to me. My arms are all sticky from having to reach through my plants to see WTF was going on. It's fixed now, but it seems to me the neighbors fish pond backflow must be piped directly into the corner of my yard. Not very cool. He can run that shit in his yard.

Damn, 30 days is harder then expected, huh?
Yea, once you're in the zone and get past the uncomfortable stage, it actually feels really good. It's just hard for me to get to past the uncomfortableness. I've tried the pillows and stuff, but it's helped only little. This is all excuses though. I'm gonna try it out again later tonight.

I feel ya. When I realize I am (seemingly) in the midst of insanity, its at that point in my life where I can successfully meditate. And man, it can definitely put you in a better place (state-of-mind wise).
Numerous times, after those good sessions I have thought to myself its like a drug, it feels so good!

Yes good stuff. I find strange amazing things happen in my life in all the right ways when I meditate on a regular basis.
