habitat: in the woods mostly off dead fallen trees. mixed forests some with hardwoods mostly coniferous softwoods. I went and picked a hen of the woods first. pics on sep thread. then I went to the strip mine forests and a place I also have permission couple miles away. I will start with what I believe is a chicken of the woods (baby) I left it grow. Reminds me of scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese! Mmm lol. 1. Laetiporus sulphureus immature?

 2. Macrolepiota species? I think this is acrolepiota procera?

 3. heres some mycena haematopus (bleeding fairies) with possibly Spinellus fusiger
 4. Coprinellus species

 5. Armillaria species?

 6. found in grass next to pine trees. guessing xerula species.
 7. Im guessing armillaria mellea.
 8. unknown to me- habitat growing near dead tree. guessing small honey mushroom. awaiting spore print.
 9. Armillaria Species?
 10. Pluteus Species?
 11. thinking Entoloma abortivum. 12. unknown to me growing singular beside dead trees.
 13. unknown to me growing out of or next to dead trees.
 14. Pluteus Species?

 15. guessing some type of mycena. Ive been wrong before lol. many time.
 16. growing next to dead tree.

 17. growing from dead tree.
  18. discarded brown garden snail shell. Figured Id throw that in there for entertainment;)
 19. amanita muscaria var guessowii I believe.

#1: If it is a Laetiporus species, its very mutated and strange looking. They grow very fast i would let it grow out more to confirm ID before trying to consume it.
#2: Possibly a Macrolepiota species
#3: for the parasite, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mucorales
#4: Its a coprinoid, Coprinus or Coprinellus species not a Pluteus
-------------------- Favorite quote: I want to know if they are active and magic or not. And if they are not active, can i pick them before they are active and then they will become active or do they have to grow till they activate?

How are you ruling out the other Spinellus species in this key?

fair enough. It might be S. fusiger, which I believe is the species most commonly found on North American collections of M. haematopus. however, I cant remember where I read that so... Im just going to tip toe out the back.
I think there was a paper from 97 with a key to NA taxa somewhere.

Could be, but it would help if you made an effort to place it in good light and show the stipe properly, etc. For your information, you're missing the species in your guess.

Alright well that was the best I could do until tomorrow morning, does it look poisonous, or does it look like an amanita muscaria?
