How much is the bus fare in your city?

I'd like to compare between cities, who's paying what? Is it good service?
Ottawa: 3.40$ for a ticket. I don't know what the monthly pass is though.
Service: We have a transitway that can get you North South, East-West super fast, without red lights. But getting everywhere else in the city will take an hour. The buses are always clean.
How bout you?

Superfast
Ottawa transit sucks ASS. Busses often don't show up and there's 15-30 minutes between each bus.
Toronto: $2.65 with tokens. Only a couple of subway lines, but they come every 2-4 minutes. Streetcars run up and down every major street where there's no subway and come every ~5 minutes during the day. Tons of busses everywhere else. It's pretty damn good overall.

One-way: 1.50 One-way with some card thingy: 1.25 Then they have like 4-hr passes, day, week, and month passes (2.00, 3.75, 15.00, 50.00 respectively).

Two bucks in Columbus. It used to be $1.25 but they didn't give change, so often times it was $2 anyway.
It takes costs me $10 to ride the train from where I live now to Penn Station NY. Or $6 to ride it to Penn Station Newark and another $2.25 on my metro card to ride the PATH either into NYC or the Jersey stops. Dunno how much the buses cost, haven't taken any since I moved. Man it's nice to have actual mass transit and not the shit COTA buses in Columbus.

I pay for a monthly pass. I have no idea. But I ride lightrail, which I'm assuming is more expensive.

2.25 to ride the bus one way plus 1.00 for each transfer if you have to catch multiple buses or trains to get to your destination.
A monthly transit pass in Philly is close to 85$. Its expensive but still cheaper then spending 6.50 (minimum) a day.

$2.00 one way. $4.00 all day if purchased off bus. $6.00 all day on bus. $64.00 Monthly
(Includes lightrail, there is also 7 day, and 15 day for a few bucks more than half the next value pass)
Also, the busses here are always late and filthy.

Single ticket 2,7€/1 zone(city) and 4,5€/whole region, which includes four cities(Helsinki, Espoo, Kauniainen and Vantaa)it's valid for 1h20min, and is accepted in buses, metro, trams, local trains and on a ferry to Suomenlinna.
Then there's a bunch of special tickets, like one day-cards for tourists etc.
Monthly pass aka travel card is 51,20€/zone(city) and 100,4€/all zones(4 cities), I get 50% off because I'm a student

There are a lot of different buses in my area, local costs $1.50-2.00 depending on how far, Jittneys are $2.50-4.00 if you are going to NYC and other buses to city vary as well.

So far it seems like my city's transportation system (SEPTA) is the most expensive.
SEPTA is usually shady too. I've seen alot of crazy shit on public transportation like people getting head, doing drugs/smoking, and fights.
To be honest, Ive done drugs and gotten head on the bus but I've never assaulted anyone

$2.25 in Boulder which includes a transfer which is good for about 2-4 hours. Or you can buy a ten pack for $20 Or a monthly pass for $80 Or get a bicycle and get just about anywhere for free within about 10-20 minutes.
