Intense cardio and weed are about the only thing that has helped my insomnia. It use to be really bad but now its pretty manageable.

Eating cannabis every night has led to very rare sleepless nights. It did not work immediately, at first there were plenty of late nights of cannabis joy.

Took phenibut last night. Only 1 400mg dose RIGHT BEFORE sleep. Knocked out at 8. Woke up at 5;30!!!! And went back to sleep in minutes. now I'm up again. That's 11 hours, 9 hr +2. Still feel a little foggy but damn man. I haven't slept for more than 4 hours uninterrupted for LITERALLY MONTHS!
Tonight, I will: Buy and Try the melatonin. Checked the cabinet yesterday and it wasn't there...someone had been using it the year I haven't

Someone was probably getting boatloads of quality sleep with it, while you were tormenting yourself with all manner of strange overpriced pills
Hope it works for ya. If it does, you'll find they leave no groggy feelings the next day, no side effects, you actually wake up rested and fine. Give it 2-3 days to kick in, taking it at the same hour of the evening. It's not just to put you down once, it's a sleep cycle restoring thing, like for jetlag. Might take a few days to kick in, but when it does you'll sleep like a baby.

For truly, I say to you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it. - Matthew 13:16

If the Melatonin and Phenibut don't work for you, try some relaxing teas if you haven't already.
Most people are jealous of my sleeping patterns. I'm basically able to fall asleep at my own whim, at any time I choose, and the sleep that I get no matter how long or how many times I wake up is always good.
I think the reason for this is because over the years I've become slightly addicted to sleeping, so I tend to enjoy it as recreation haha.
If smoking good bud doesn't help with the sleep, try smoking a decent amount of keif, that stuff always makes my eyelids heavy, practically forcing me to pass out. If you're an oil smoker I'm not sure if smoking keif will help you much though.
Also, don't think about falling asleep when you're trying to fall asleep, But you probably already know that.
