I don't know what it is, but lately haven't come across anyone in real life who enjoys listening to chillstep, trance, or anything else of that nature. i cant be the only one right? also, if anyone has any good trip story's resulting from a really nice choice in the music selection department, id love to hear it!
to kick it off, i listened to "pandemonium - Arkasia" once while tripping off caps and listening to it on its own was a mind blowing experience. to knock that up a bit more, my buddy (whom has never tried shrooms but enjoys being a sitter) was doing a "fire-show" I.E. had candles and various strength alcohol/feuls, like zippo fuel, ect, lighting bits of stuff on fire, making fireballs, and catching his hand of fire/ tips of his fingers- shit, i thought he was on fire half the time... the incense that was burning beside me ending up taking most of my attention half way through, however. it was as if i could see lens flare through every partical of smoke.. it was like a Buoyant liquid rainbow mixed with an upside down waterfall, and it would change every so often to the music like a synthesizer. fucking beautiful...
P.S. im sorry if this qualifies under the "experiences" forum.

I enjoy it from time to time, its one of those things I'm not always in the mood for. But for instance, if some trance started playing in the radio I wouldn't change the station.
So you described what you seen, but what did you feel? Eyes are windows to the mind but emotion is a highway to the soul.
Like fast lane, slap into 5th, stand on the petal. You're alive, that's good enough.

yeah, depending on my mood i will listen to anything, but when it comes to my own choices i usually listen to eminem, trance/techno/jumpstyle/chillstep/glitch-hop of sorts, rage against the machine, cyberpunk variant themes, and a verity of older stuff. but i trance and other electric bassed music takes up most of my time

i felt a strange connection with my surroundings that made me feel rather indifferent to everything as a single, "specific thing". for instance, if i was referng to my friend and his fire, or the ground i was sitting on i would say " my ground" or "me" or "i" refering to myself as the objects around me... however i didnt do it becouse i felt like it, so much as it just felt natural...
has anyone els had this occur?

This is what we call, being one. One with everything. You are a part of god.
You felt oneness.
All things made by man were once a thought, an idea. From your house to your shoes, ideas ideas. All things which came to be were born of formless matterless ideas.
The opposite of god is matter. God is conscious thinking. You are an idea. Nature is an idea. Idea = creation, even in humans.

i think you and i could get along very well, very well indeed. this was the first experience i had with mushrooms, and it was a very charishable one.
i often relate the oneness i felt with quantum mechanics in the way that everything is build up out of the same thing, even ideas are made out of the same thing as matter is; "Quanta". i feel like when you undergo this experience the "waves of energy" you see when you go on large, 'realm' shattering journey's on other drugs I.E. DMT, LSD, Salvia, ect, are you just experiencing that basic principle matter(witch is more like information and waves then matter: 1s and 0s) in a way that we can understand.
to put it in a quote from "the psychedelic experience: a manual based on the Tibetan book of the dead", "The pure(1), content-free light of the first bardo probably involves basic electrical wave energy(1). this is nameless, indescribable(1), because it is far beyond any concepts witch we now(2) posses. some future atomic physicist(2) may be able to classify this energy. perhaps it always be ineffable for a nerves system such as that of homo sapiens. can an organic system 'comprehend' the vastly more efficient inorganic?"- Pge 61 Par 1
(1) i feel like these relate to quanta rather well, while at the same time being rather vague.. but it kind of makes you think they were on the right track doesn't it?
(2) i like how they also accounted for the fact that they were only scratching the surface in 1964, and knew that it could be very soon before someone else stood on there shoulders and linked it with the resent research in quantum mechanics.
i lastly, and slightly off topic, i love the question near the end of the paragraph; "can an organi system 'comprehend' the vastly more efficient inorganic?" q
