I feel like life is all an illusion. I dont know my full divine mission but I know my soul chose these experiences. Does that mean its all useless and pointless. I was told by a channel that all my karma is done. I spent my whole life trying to remove pain and then after i finally complained enough it went away. I felt nothing. Empty. Knowing that god and my soul created the struggle in this life? is it all a play? a movie I chose to experience. Then forgot when my memory was erased. to only experience a movie??. I know who my twin soul is. Now I feel pointless trying. The illusion behind the seperation. What is the point of keep living if I know its all fake. blehh.
-------------------- Life is an expression of countless endless words that are true for you and the universe and all the time it will come to your mind life and spirit of humanity and your life you are truly grateful to be alive you are the great one of this universe you are wise and truly endless in your nature...

People still use the word gay as a negative?
And the Vedas call this play Lila. Its interesting to think about.

Dude, are you still in high school? Serious question. What's up with the use of "gay" as a term for negativity? Sorry if that pre-empts any thoughtful response to your question, but it's an offensive expression, and I'm writing as a straight man! But, I was a liaison for the Sexual Minorities Network in Miami for a decade, and as a counselor I had to deal with the damaging effects to many adolescents from years of subtle abuse - hearing the word "gay" just like you're using it here. Please make a leap in personal development here and now, and drop the pejorative use of the word "gay," on behalf of all the gay, bi, and trans-gendered people here and everywhere. In fact, learn to use the word "gay" ONLY if you're talking about yourself.

Using the word gay is perfectly legitimate these day. It's only a matter of using the term in a derisive manner, particularly by stupid teenage kids that are inept at expressing themselves, that it is found offensive.

"What is the meaning of life?"
does not solve the problem of "What should we do?" A young monk in the Buddha's community is said to have complained that his questions about experiences before birth and after death had not been answered.
"In response, the Buddha is said to have suggested that the monk consider what would happen if a person, shot and wounded by a poisoned arrow, were to spend time reflecting on the cause of the attack, the probable assailant, or the nature of the poison instead of removing the arrow."
Ending suffering depends on seeing clearly, without bias, "It's like this," so that "What should we do?" question can answer itself.
Pay Attention For Goodness' Sake by Sylvia Boorstein
-------------------- "Springs of water welling from the fire" "Life may seem to flee in a moment, but when the mind is freed of the veil of ignorance, and illusion that comes between the mind and the truth, life and death are only opposite sides of the same coin - "water welling from the fire."
"Within us, we carry the world of no-birth and no-death. But we never touch it, because we live only with our notions." -Thich Nhat Hanh instant "Experience always goes beyond ideas"

Yeah man. That was the point of my diatribe. That's exactly what it sounded like. I'm tired of it, and I'm not even gay. I have gay, bi, and a transgendered friend. Almost dated a transgendered sexually reassigned female. Prejudice is often subtle. Example: "Would you like a beer?" "No thanks, I'm straight." Translation: Straight = OK. Implication: The opposite of 'straight' = Not OK, thus gay is not OK.
The majority of the kids I worked with who self-mutilated themselves (cutting, burning, stabbing, etc.) were struggling with their sexual orientation. Gay kids are 35% greater risks for suicide. Every time I heard some middle school fucktard say that something is gay, or called someone gay, I stepped up with just the kind of thing I just wrote. In fact, last Friday I gave away the remaining school materials I kept, including a rainbow flag that was prominently displayed opposite the door to my counseling room. Just trying to wake people up from their unconsciousness and maybe they'll stop increasing the suffering they inflict on others.

I like JDM too, but it's more about admiring, than desiring. I probably told you that a late acquaintance of mine used to hang with Jim at Florida State during his brief attempt at film making. Unfortunately, he didn't have much to tell me, (and I felt weird sounding like a hero-worshipper, so I didn't press further), other than his dorm room was a total pig sty. I only learned quite late in life how a good-looking wing-man can help attract good-looking females. Had I been a few years older, and at FSU with Jim, I might have discovered his presence there (I took film courses at my own school). In his biography, gay men apparently used Pamela to get closer to Jim, but as someone with 20 paternity suits against him at the time of his death, it was clear he wasn't into guys. Oh, the disappointment for gay guys.

Doesn't take much to get you on a roll. But that's understandable as you're a loner and don't get to gab with friends a lot. (same here) Plus now you're retired and you're going to drive your lady bonkers.

I'm afraid of just that - driving the woman crazy. That came out tonight when we visited an art therapist friend on Hollywood Beach tonight to meet her sister for the first time. The sister showed us her Arizona medical marijuana card, something I've never seen. It became a philosophical question as to whether I myself would use cannabis again, just to chill. Maybe...if I could find hashish down here. Only had some once in 30 years, and not into making any from trim, which I also don't have. Anyway, the dust of retirement hasn't settled. Now they're gonna deny paying my pension until I purchase a birth certificate from NJ, since the last one I sent off for a passport, but Florida Retirement Service won't recognize a copy of a passport because all of Florida bureaucracy is the epitome of the word fucktard. I've corrupted my Lady, now she's drinking wine and watching disks of Sons of Anarchy til 4:00 am with me.

If the term gay offends thee then turn the other cheek.
Gay is as gay does.
Term gay offends you? You must be gay!
Is burning wood offended by being called fagot?
If you're offended by someone saying gay but not by a cock ramming your ass then you're seriously - gay.

I would advise you to stop using gay as a pejorative term.
Perhaps experimentation in homosexuality is just what you need to snap out of your existential malaise.
