I thought Jackie Brown was a bad movie in general. I like to pretend it's not part of Tarantino's canon.

I like some of the performances (Robert De Niro) however I thought it was much weaker since he didn't write it. Jackie just wasn't a character that I cared much for.

wtf
Django unchained show a hitlist with a name of a distant relative of christopher walken's character in pulp fiction. Kill bill is either the show that beat uma thurmans pilot described in pulp fiction or its the actual show. Resevoir dogs, the psycho guy who cuts off he cops ear is john travoltas cousin from pulp fiction. Uhhh... i'm drawing blanks there's a lot more examples Red apple cigarettes are in almost all of them. I think the sword in pulp fiction might've been from kill bill, and in kill bill the one guy said he pawned the sword off.
Sorry for the vagueness it's hard to watch all the movies in a sequential order and not get details from each one mixed up. I practically see kill bill1&2,pulp fiction and resevoir dogs all as different parts of the same movie anymore.
Travolta from Pulp is Mr Blonde's (reservoir dogs) brother. He planned on making a prequel to all the movies about the Vega Bros.

Kill Bill is NOT the show Mia Wallace starred in. Tarantino has 2 separate universes, the actual universe (Pulp Fiction, Res Dogs, Iglorious Bastards etc) while the Kill Bill movies along with Jackie Brown are in the movie movie universe which are movies that people from the other universe like Vince Vega or Mr Pink would go to the movies to see.

I have to disagree. It's not his best-- but it was still a good movie. Just a little different from the rest of his stuff.
The book it was based on (by Elmore Leondard, I believe) was pretty good.
But IMHO the thing Tarantino does best is dialogue. And having re-written the story for the screen, Tarantino's dialogue magick still shines through.

I really wish he'd followed through with that. Could have been epic.

Res dogs sucks.... I mean the way he builds tension and the acting is very much top notch but it's a B-movie with 80% of the dialogue taking place in an abandoned warehouse.... it doesnt even compare to Pulp or Bastards, same universe maybe but from different superclusters to be sure

He had no money to make that film.
That is why it all takes place in a warehouse.
Amazing, for what he had to work with. Absolutely amazing.
You can't compare Resivoire Dogs to his other films, and blame its budget. For what it was, it was one of the best.

yeah-- that was a real good movie for acting and dialog, and I suppose that's what's so refreshing about it. The plot does not rely on explosions and stunts and CGI to drive the story along. There's just one scene with action and the rest of the movie is 100% grade A acting
res dogs doesn't suck at all. but it's still mot my fav Tarantino film

I was joking, that scene is hilariously bad. I like Reservoir Dogs, but I can't watch that scene without thinking "What the fuck?"
