Anyone have any ideas what this is?
    #18770361 - 08/28/13 08:27 PM (10 years, 5 months ago)

I live in Key West FL and rented some warehouse space to set up a small Mushroom farm. Outside is a stump that has these mushrooms on it. Not sure of the wood and I do nothing to help it grow. It get direct sun about half the day and temps here are from as low as 45 degrees and up to the mid 90's. Humidity is say from 40% to 100%. We get rain about every other day for at least a half hour and more in the winter. The white spots I think are something else on the shroom but not sure. Also the original shroom was broken off and it regrew and the stump appears to have been burned at 1 time.Well there you have it everything I know about it.

Blur.  Better pics would help.  That's a strange lookin' thing.

"Shrub, 30-90 cm. Leaves 2.5-) 4-9 cm, sessile or amplexicaul, broadly ovate to ovate-oblong, obtuse or rounded to subapiculate or subacute, when crushed not smelling of goats."

"The initial quake was a 6.6 but fairly shallow. I felt it as a prolonged up and down vibration followed by a jolt forward and then to the left, like square dancing."

I thought it cool that right in front of where I decide to start a mushroom farm the only wild mushroom I have seen in the 8 years I have lived here pops out on a stump out front of my farm
