Lib growth time?
    #18768328 - 08/28/13 12:54 PM (10 years, 5 months ago)

Here's my scenario - I recently cleared out my usual mushroom spot; how long does it take for libs to grow from nothing to full size? IE: How long would it take for my spots to 'refresh its stocks'

I thought the general time was about 5-7 days, but I am not really sure; its hard to tell if a mushroom wasn't there last time or if i just missed it :P

Last season I was clearing flushes every 3 days, most libs were fully grown with pins opening their veils. I would say 2-3 days, depends on weather, 4 days and you have mature patches.

Oh nice. I shall probably go every few days then; the spot I have is rather miraculous to say the least.

Where are you dude if you don't mind me asking? I've checked my early season spot, always fruits reliably every year in august, theres plenty of protostropharia semiglobata, panaeolus species and a couple of hydrocybe but no sign of any libbies.

I know it's been warm but, I've known it warmer and drier with confirmed finds in 05 and 06, guess we just need to wait for a nice lil cold snap.

Wishing you all good luck and a prosperous season.
