From the frequency I've seen muscaria photos on here, they seem to be quite common everywhere.
-------------------- "Shrub, 30-90 cm. Leaves 2.5-) 4-9 cm, sessile or amplexicaul, broadly ovate to ovate-oblong, obtuse or rounded to subapiculate or subacute, when crushed not smelling of goats." "The initial quake was a 6.6 but fairly shallow. I felt it as a prolonged up and down vibration followed by a jolt forward and then to the left, like square dancing."

you think maybe I can finish drying them and then grind into powder and save it that way? I also heard some ginger will help a whole lot with the nausea.... maybe some warm citrus tea with ginger could work well?
Give it a try and let us know. ;-)
Oh, but, any grinding should be done just prior to consumption. This pretty much goes for any foodstuff... Save it in the biggest chunks possible to cut down on oxidation.
so I couldn't grind it all up to powder and save it that way? im reading a BUNCH of different things everywhere I look...I cant seem to find a lot of straight forward answers on the internet about amanita

m just trying to soak everything in in person instead of trying to read it.
That's the best way to do it i think. No amount of looking at pics can be of the same value as actually seeing something in person. Once you've seen something for a real a few times after ID'ing it for the first time (or either way) you kind of just 'know' what it is. There are lots of subtleties that you pick up subconsciously.
