What is too much spores in half pint jars?

Hi All,
Ok, I was inoculating some half pint jars last night and my hand slipped on the syringe plunger. I wound up putting about 3-4cc in just that one jar. Curious if that is too much and what kind of reaction, results or issues I might encounter from using that much in one jar? Thanks!!

There is never too much spores for jars, the thing you have to worry about is water content. Your jar should turn out fine, and will probably colonize quicker but you just might end up getting contamination in that jar. Just be a little more careful next time. When I inoculate I hold the plunger between two fingers so it doesnt slip and push with my other hand

Thank you for the reply! I'll keep an eye on the moisture. But, hypothetically, if I have a lack of moisture issue in a PFTek jar that is over-spored, is there anything I can do? I have a glassed-in solarium that I could move them to temporarily that has like humidity levels out the a$$! That could increase their internal moisture.
Thoughts?

Try to get the water content right when you sterilize the substrate mix. Don't expect to be able to water it to the correct water content with sterile water or spore solution.

The problem would be more likely to be reverse. You may have too much water in it due to injecting an extra 3 ml of liquid.
We did the same thing with one of our jars.. we observed fast initial colonization, slower towards the end. That particular jar also never colonized the bottom of the cake perfectly, but it's hard to say if that was because of the extra moisture or not. Apart from that it seemed to make no difference.
