    #18767821 - 08/28/13 09:57 AM (10 years, 5 months ago)

All found under beech trees.

1.

2.

The one above has a blue ring around the stipe between the cap and the stipe.

3. Is this a bay bolete?

4. Are these panthers or blushers?

Are any of these edible?

Thanks
Steven

Clitopilis Prunulus?
Sweetbread mushroom. They had a distinct smell of bread when we picked them! You think I should eat them guys?

The sweetbread one. I've done a spore print and its pink. Should i eat those bad boys? Do they taste good?
I've read the poisonous ones have a white spore print.

It looks like it. But Clitocybe dealbata/rivulosa also look very much like it and they are very poisonous. C. prunulus will have a pink spore print. It is definitely in your interest to familiarise yourself with these. If it helps, check out my recent observation: http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/18730964/page/1
Edit: Just saw your last post. The Clitocybes will have a white spore print yes.

i would avoid those. too many poisonous lookalikes. lyophyllum connatum for example. some clitocybe also.
