I basically went fucking crazy depressed and devastated and distraught at a local cafe me and my brother always go to. I just sat there slowly sinking into this insane hell right in front of these 4 girls that work there. They were all shocked and had these smiles and were talking about it. They seemed pretty fucking astonished at how bad I felt. It must have looked like I was a fucking emotional wreck...
But it's just frontal lobe syndrome from hitting my head. One feature of this syndrome is "emotional lability", or the inability to inhibit emotions. When something pisses me off, it REALLY pisses me off, when something makes me sad, I STAY fucking sad. It's really bad but my brain is healing so I'm not freaking out about it.
But I went there today completely normal again and I think they were really uncomfortable about it all. They must think I'm a weirdo that can't deal with himself or something. They gave these little smiles like, "THIS fucking guy..."
How do I explain or drop the hint that my brain is partially injured? Do I just make jokes about brain injuries over and over really loud from where I'm sitting? lol.
It's just a shame 'cos I really like going to that place.

I think I would just apologize if I acted a little odd last time and explain the situation. People can be understanding.

Just mention you hit your head, they'll most likely catch the hint. And if they continue to snicker and laugh while you're there, bring a knife and slice them up.

Agreed. Nobody will take the hint if you joke around about having been "hit on the head" one too many times or something. Also, people tend to be less forgiving of mental diseases rather than physical ones these days, so just chock it up to your personality. After all, what's easier to accept, a physical flaw or a flawed personality--even if they're one in the same. Blaming a personality issue on minor physical trauma is still kind of sideskirting the issue when its a personality attribute that they have to accept in the real world, right?

Just relax
Everyone in the world is insane, but are unaware of it. You are just more in-tune with your insanity.
