General Id if possible
    #18765740 - 08/27/13 08:32 PM (10 years, 5 months ago)

Habitat:
Where does it grow? Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc.
On a cow pasture on a farm in the north Carolina..... They were picked out of manure..... It might have been horse manure.....

Gills:
Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.

They were small bodied and appeared to be predominantly white to off white with grayish gills....

Stem:
Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.

The longest stem was around 2 inches I think and thin

Cap:
Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.
Cap seemed to be an of white with a hint of tan....

Spore print color:
Very important!

  I think they are brownish

Bruising:
Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.

Not much in bruising on the stem cap seemed to have a bit of dark bruising after sitting in paper bag for a while and got a little mangled in the bag and started to fall apart...

Other information:
Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap

Your mushroom is most likely to be a Psathyrella sp., I do not know which one.
