I prefer to copy & paste. I use a VPN, which doesn't allow you to look up youtube videos on it.
OP - your moisture content is def a bit off in those grain jars. here's a link to my WBS prep: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/16069543

Thank you for fixing the link! Didn't know I could do that.
Yeah, I had to keep them in the fridge over night so then I rinsed them before PC. Didn't know it's best to dry them out after rinsing. Hopefully they survive! But lesson learned at least.

I've had jars with 90% burst kernels that worked out fine.

That's weird. I'm too new to know what's going on, but was there still water in the PC when you finished? Or did you leave the stove too hot maybe? If the WBS haven't burst then that's a good sign at least.

Make sure the toggle weight is only jiggling once every minute or so.

Not sure, but mine was doing the same as yours. It maintained 15 psi but jiggled a lot. No contams and colonized in 5 days, so hopefully it's fine.
In my very newb opinion - since yours is colonizing fine then it should be okay. It's either just cosmetic or lost some nutrients. So just wouldn't get as many flushes out of it.

Completely unsurprising, considering that BRF is rice that has had all the kernels burst before it was even cooked, but still a cool thing to hear about. Thanks, TL.

Ya. 5 are at ~95%, 1 is about 75%. It's from g2g though not syringe. My last one's from syringe took about 5 days once it started showing initial growth (about 9 days total).

Turn down the heat on the stove when the toggle weight starts to jiggle.

I tried for 1 hour. But sometimes it was 30 minutes sometimes 2 hours. I didn't wanna waste my camera/remote battery but next time I will so that it looks better. I think 1/45mins would be good.

Did you put something at the bottom of your PC while sterilizing, to keep the jars elevated from the pc? Just realized that could be the problem.

The grains will always look "cooked", or darker when they come out.
Essentially you did cook them.
