i only ask cause ive read stories of people loading the clip with a size up. with pressure, you can load a higher cal, but when you try to load the clip it either wont fit or the gun will jam when you try to fire.
im only trying to help man...

ok that explains it
a lot of 45 gun manufactures claim so much 45 ammo fits in the mag.alot of times this isn't the case not to mention yer gun is still "tight" which means it isn't broke in yet.it takes at least 200 rounds to properly break in a pistol.10 rounds capacity is amazing for that tiny gun considering its compact.full size 1911 usually carry only 7-8 45 rounds.load it up with 9 or 8 or even 7 rounds in that compact pistol, youll be fine..also the manufacturer may have meant 9 in the clip and one in the chamber.load up 9 bullets, chamber 1,then unload the clip and add a bullet.you got 10 rounds

gotcha, i thought it might be the clip. its actually really hard to get that 10th round in the clip so i thought maybe it was the clip. also what about with larger magazines? a little extreme but.. http://www.glockstore.com/mag-parts-extensions/fifty-round-magazine-drum-for-glock

from my understanding you bought a random box from a pawn shop. most pawn shops around here are shady. ive even seen some shops sell rounds in zip lock baggies. it was nothing on you, it was more on the shadiness of the shops themselves...
on a side note, i always have trouble loading new clips. its hard as shit to get that last round in.

It's a common problem, the gun isn't tight though, it's the magazine spring. Just throw this in to google "seating magazine glock 30" and you will see. I have a S&W shield that takes some force when inserting the 7 round mag in, it really needs a good palm strike.
You might want to buy a magazine loader such as this http://www.maglula.com/PistolMagLoaders/UpLULA%E2%84%A29mmto45ACPmags.aspx your fingers will thank you for it.

Thats from the top round being pressed into the slide from the stiff spring.

lol i think the pawn shop i got it at was pretty cool, it came in a box just like from any shop. actually the pawn shop was recommended to me from a large sports store because they were out and the guy was nice enough to let me know that the prices are much better there anyway.
also it did come with a loader, but i seem to find it easier to just use my fingers for the last round. honestly i'm probably not going to load 10 rounds at a time if i'm shooting, probably really would just be a waste of time spending extra time to struggle just to get one more in.
