And I just wanted to share.
I've never seen this thing that is growing on the stump, it's very beautiful!

1. propbably piptoporus, not edible anyways. 2. this is really interesting, my first thought was leucoagaricus whis is more likely if youre in europe, but probably im wrong. could be lepista also. you need to take picture of gills in order we can find out what iti is. 3. hygrophorus most likely.

I think they (group 2) might be Entoloma. I imagine it would have pinkish orange spores.

#2 look like Pluteus to me. Perhaps #4 as well.

I know for a fact 2 is not pluteus, I find those same type and they have attached gills. I always assume they are an Entoloma species and toss them. Idk about 4 though. Could be a pluteus but the cap texture seems a bit off to me.

It would be weird for an Entoloma to grow clustered like that. It would be helpful to see the underside.

It would be more weird to find Pluteus that big not growing on a log. Sure there could be buried wood, but I know what I know, because I just saw some today. They fooled me for pluteus, but pluteus they are not. Maybe not Entoloma, but the spores are pinkish orange, and they have attached gills. I have no other guess besides Entoloma that matches those criteria.

These pics were taken a couple weeks ago, unfortunately it has been dry and there have been no more sightings since.
The top two are growing on a decayed and overgrown hardwood stump. I don't recall what type of hardwood off the top of my head, it has been gone for a long time.
The third was found in soil about a foot away from the same stump. I took more pictures because I liked the gills and wanted to see the spore color (white).
The forth was found at the base of the stump.
I need to water the gardens today so hopefully that will create some more fruits in the next couple of days. I will update!
Oh, I am in the midwestern US.
