Can someone with experience give me a straight answer on this. How long do I need to soak my shrooms in Everclear to make one? The answers are all over the board on this, from a few hours to three plus weeks. I have had some ground up shrooms soaking in Everclear in the freezer now for around four days. In no real hurry but was thinking about trying it this weekend, so will it work? Does anyone have an actual time?

First off his name is Inigo.
Second, well, i do it for a day more in a 70 degree f dark area and it works wonders. Sometimes in a 55-60 degree basement. I just drink it to augment other altered states. Also i leave the mush pulp in the liquor, i do like how mushrooms taste.

Yes, his name is Inigo. I wonder how I am so stupid? Thanks for pointing that out. I was about to call you an idiot and come to find out that I am the idiot...

Hes a swashbuckling spaniard looking for the six fingered man who killed his father. Seriously, who doesn't know this?

So I have another question. I have read that the psilocybin breaks down at around 200 degrees. If this is true, why would anybody do a fan evaporation? If the grain alcohol boils at 173.3 then can I simply use a bain marie (double boiler) kept at 180 or so until I have my desired amount?

It actually breaks down at 220-228C which is 428-442F.

i only let it sit in the grain alcohol for 3 days. did 2 pulls. so 6 days total. didn't use the freezer. just room temp. then fan dried to desired potency. my friend tested it and said it was awesome. i worked hard at it with accurate dosage. got it down to 1ml/1gm dried
