Persistent pain
    #18761201 - 08/26/13 08:03 PM (10 years, 5 months ago)

I have a persistent soreness in my right shoulder/neck/chest region. It almost feels like I pulled a muscle or something. If I move my arm or neck in certain ways it hurts a little more. It also hurts a bit in my chest (right side) when I breath in deeply. The time it hurts the most is when I wake up from taking a nap or sleeping. Exercise doesn't really affect it unless I push myself too hard. I could probably go on a 3 mile jog right now and it wouldn't bother me at all. The pain has persisted more or less all summer. Stretching/ Yoga has no effect.

It isn't combined with any other symptoms. No coughing, no cold sweating, no dizziness, etc...

The pain is never really any more than mild, under any circumstance.

I'll be telling this to a doctor. He/she will probably tell me that I have a heart condition or lung cancer or something.

Hopefully it's just stress. I'm incredibly high strung and overworked and I don't get laid so stress is a definite possibility methinks.

i put pressure on one point of my back and it starts to hurt but not painful just there and not going away.  the doctor will probably tell you to pay tons of money to go to physical therapy which helps except never made anything go away for me.  Under stress i tend to become a mild hypochondriac

probably just muscle strain from the way you're sleeping.

 Probably not. The worst fears I ever had never came to pass.
