Yes. Benzos treat hangovers very well because they are also CNS depressants that stimulate your GABA receptors. It's basically like drinking to get rid of a hangover but without actually drinking. If that makes any sense lol.
I've found kratom and a bit of weed to be the best hangover cure. The weed settles the stomach, and the kratom gives you the energy you lack while being hungover.

Yes, but great social interactions can occur in the absence of alcohol.

That doesn't necessarily mean it makes you depressed. The term "depressant" refers to the fact that it is a CNS depressant. In other words, it slows down your bodies functioning. Doesn't necessarily mean being depressed is a direct effect from it, not everyone gets depressed from drinking.
Yeah this.
I remember in DARE they told us that alcohol is a depressant which means it makes you depressed

Yeah I don't think I'd like to chill with a crowd I would only want to talk to if I was drunk lol

I agree, but if you're a person that can't be comfortable in a social environment without drinking. You most likely have a problem. Could be physiological or alcohol related. ---------------- I also wanted to address binge drinking occasionally vs drinking moderately every day. Recent studies have concluded that healthwise they are both just a detrimental to your health. I always believed that if I got shitty once a week instead of drinking moderately every night it would be less harmful, but it appears that this isn't the case.

Very far out. I don't understand this at all Sheeks. Do you feel worse as hungover worse? Or just worse in general the following day. If I drink a couple beers at night, it has no effects on me the following day. That's why I'm wondering.

When I'm buzzing on a beer or two I typically feel irritated and like "meh" in general. I usually prefer sobriety over 1-2 beers. But if I'm relatively drunk then It's all
I never get much hangover the next day either way, sometimes I might feel a little extra warm and smug the morning after getting drunk

With drugs though I think the damage gets worse the more and more you use in a single session, but 1 beer isn't moderate drinking.

When I said moderately drunk I was referring more to about a 6-pack or so. One beer = irritable. 6 beers = feels good

That's still the case in Japan. I swear, I was practically forced to drink at every meal.

That's a mighty short binge, but yeah it'll drain you out. Smoking pot should take care of that feeling though

I held up pretty well when I was there, but that was also during one of the hardest drinking periods of my life (mid 20's). Still very impressive though when one takes body weight into account.

Ya I was a total lightweight. My chick's dad was drinking me under the table. Then we would leave, and he would stay there drinking for another 4 hours.. come home at like 2am... go to sleep.. and wake up at like 5:30-6am to make breakfast.. every day... Fucking machines I tell you

Yeah it does happen to me, i binge drink frequently just the other night I took 17 or 18 shots, 3 5mg adderal,6mg of Xanax and several 325mg soma. Then I slept all the next day ,since then ive felt real down, lethargic and a little angry here and there.I even almost relapsed on opiates cause I was so bored and anxious/depressed.
