hello all. mon amie has two dozen pftek pint jars in the midst of full colonization. he is wondering what what would be the best thing to use as a bulk substrate to spawn into....(this pf tek being brf/verm.), as mon ami wants a good fruiting on trays.... also, in the tray format, what would be the best solution for a fruiting chamber, ie, perlite, sealed room with cool mist humidifier, air bubblers....?please let me know so i can tell mon amie as soon as he gets back from france.
 thanks inCreD

hey cred.
uh, I'd go with horse/cow poo with or without straw.
as for the fruiting chamber, well, I guess it depends on how much room you have and how much $ you want to invest. You can fruit directly in Rubbermaid Roughneck containers covered with punctured plastic wrap, or in big multi-gallon sterilite bins you can buy at Wal-Mart. Perlite would be the most attainable and easiest way of humidifying, though with bulk it isn't as much of an issue (in the first few flushes anyway).
Look in the FAQ's for details.
