Cubensis on Rye/Coir Questions & porn pictures.

Greetings fellow Shroomerites! I just want to throw up some pictures really quick so this is by no means an intensive grow log. These pictures are of P. Cubensis (PF strain) grown on rye, then spawned to 100% coir.
I started with 10 quart jars. Inoculated 5 of them with a syringe of PF, and the other 5 with a syringe of Pink Elephant. I must say, I am always impressed with how well the PF strain does. My quarts that were inoculated with PF were done colonizing in about two weeks, as apposed to the Pink Elephant, in which all the jars fell to contamination. This also could have been caused by a bunk (contaminated) syringe.
A couple pics of the glove box

PF strain colonizing with recognizable strength.

4 quart jars were spawned to 100% coir to make 8 different sized Tupperware, 1/2 quart spawned to each.

I would like to take this time to throw something out there. While spawning the rye to the coir, I got to the last tupperware and only had 1/2 a quart of rye left, but more than enough coir remaining. At this point I was feeling adventurous and decided to try an experiment. I spawned the 1/2 quart to the remaining coir in the bucket, mixed it around in the bucket, then put it in a tupperware. I filled it half way, and packed it way down almost as much as I could, yet it remained spongy. I filled the tupperware up the rest of the way and packed it down like I did the bottom half. This tupperware container had to of weighed around a pound more than other tupperware of identical size that I didn't pack down. I have always heard that one does not want to pack the substrate down when spawning, but I figured I would try it out of my self. Here is a picture of that tupperware colonizing.
I did not notice a difference in colonization speed, it seemed to colonize at the same pace as the others, whom were not condensed. It is fruiting fine at the moment as you will see; I am hoping it will have more power than the others!
Here is a picture after a couple days in the shotgun fruiting chamer

Here are pictures I took 8/25/13

The best pin set I have ever had on those top two.. You can notice some discoloration and bruising on the top of the mycelium as well. Is this just bound to happen without a casing layer? Last time I tired using vermiculite to case some tupperware and ended up getting a parasitic fungi that ate all my fruits, so I'm a little traumatized Any comments on that stressful myc?
Also wanted to mention one last thing. Two of the Pink elephant quart jars looked like they were going to survive. Granted, they never looked quite right; They had mushroom mycelium colonizing them, yet it still looked like there was a bacteria in there competing with the myc. For example, some of the rye berries wouldn't completely turn white, especially up against one or two sides of the jar. Wish I had a picture. In any case, they didn't look right but I just left them to see what they were going to do. During all of this, there is still one poor PF jar sitting around, having been colonized for like a month.. developing hyphe and what not.. It wanted out of that damn jar. So last night, I took that jar and the two Pink jars that I was iffy about and pasteurized a brick of coir in a 5 gal home depot bucket. I broke up the PF jar and it looked great. I took the Pink jars, broke them up, noticed some of the rye was getting mushy and smashed during the break up. That definitely made me raise my brow, so I opened em up to take a wiff. The smell was a combination of the classic mushroom myc smell and feet. I believe this confirmed my suspicions of a bacterial contaminate.
So now I'm left with one quart of PF and an entire brick of pasteurized brick of coir. I decided to try another experiment! I put both of my hands into the bucket of coir and mixed it up really nice, breaking apart chunks. I have noticed in my experience with adding a 160-180 degree gallon of water to a brick of coir in a bucket, the moisture content of the coir is not the same on the bottom as it is on the top. The coir at the bottom of the buck is much more moist and is carrying a lot more water. This is another reason I mixed the coir around in the bucket. Any who, I took that quart and just poured it in the bucket of coir. I spawned 1 quart jar to an entire brick of coir... I mixed it all in very thoroughly, patted it down very gently, made the surface nice and pretty and smooth, wiped down the inside walls getting rid of moisture and things like that. Threw some foil on the top of the bucket, poked about 10 toothpick sized holes in the top, and put it somewhere to colonize. Anyone think this will work? I figure it will just colonize into a large cake that I can either pop out and put in a FC or somehow leave it in the bucket and create fruiting conditions within the bucket similar to a mycobag.
Any thoughts, recommendations, advice, or criticism would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you so much for reading through this <3
Take care everyone!

Is that four trays layed down in a SGFC with perlite at the bottom? Interesting setup, and sorry to hear about your contam losts. Did you do each strain at different times? Did you wipe the needle with alcohol & flame between each inoculation? Idk, interested in your grow though I'll be staying tuned

Total of 8 trays in the SGFC, 6 on the floor on perlite. I ran out of room so I needed to put two of them on top of the others. I did them at the same time, and yes I sterilized in between each jar. That is why it makes me think the syringe might have been contaminated while it was being made. Thank you for the reply :]

Nice Fucking job! That's what it is about.
As for the bruising... No idea man. I do know cubes don't need a casing layer, but it might help.
Maybe think about getting another FC so as to have 2 trays per tote.
Hopefully a tc will give you some insight.
And sorry to hear about your loss.

Sorry didn't read your whole op but are you misting?
The bruising could be from your myc being really thirsty. Give those guys a drink!

I am assuming the small populations of fruits are shutting down, perhaps due to the mycelium refocusing it's energy to push out the larger ones. Does anyone know anything about handling an issue like this? Besides realizing that they aren't going to get to the point of veil breaking and picking them before they turn black.
