Early Morning Chat

Sup yall? I'm just getting up. Ate a whole one of my ganja brownies last night after having a strong ass iced coffee and it put me on my fucking ass. I could NOT stay awake even if I tried to force myself. These things came out STRONG.
Today I gotta get my oil changed, get my truck smogged, and maybe go to the DMV. My tags expire at the end of the month and I gotta get em switched to California since I live here again.
Then Aikido in the evening. No doubt there will be something delicious for lunch, and HOPEFULLY I can fit a nap into my schedule cuz I'm a little groggy still from that brownie.
What's your plan of attack for this amazingly incredible awesome Monday?

What up dude. Good luck at the DMV man, monday mornings can be a bitch there. Those brownies sound bomb.
As for me I have to turn in a few assignments in my Type class then am skipping my afternoon class to go fuck this black chick I befriended last week. Imma make her cook for me.
Currently listening to Sonic Youth and charging up my vape pen. Have fun in Aikido man!

Sonic Youth? Dang that's an obscure reference these days. I haven't listened to them in probably 15 years or more.

I'm irritated as fuck and its way too early to be this annoyed.
At my gym, they got a new dude to work the 7am-whatever shift, the other guy they had went to a different location. Anyways, I asked to go tanning, he sets me up in a room. I take all my sweaty damn gym clothes off, get in the booth and press the "on " button repeatedly. Nothing.
I'm cussing as I get out and put back on my gross sweaty clothes, walk out to the front desk, tell him its not working and he goes "Oh sorry I forgot to turn it on " I gave him the -_- look and went tanning.
After that I wanted to use this other machine they call red light therapy, I sign up for it and I ask him "can you make sure you turn it on " "hehehe ok I did " so I go, take ALL my clothes off again, get in the booth and press the on button. NOTHING, AGAIN. I put back on my fucking gym clothes and walk out to him and say "is there a manager here who knows how to work the machines because that one isn't working EITHER. "
You know what he says? "IDK " and I'm not saying he said "I don't know " he fucking threw his hands up and said "I d k " are you fucking serious?! I shook my head and headed towards the door as he said "have a great day "
UGHHHHHHHHH

Sounds like you both probably could have handled the situation better. Best to learn to get along with this dude if he's gonna be running a shift when you like to go.
On a lighter note, I bought prickly pears yesterday and thought of you. They are yummy but pretty seedy. I like dragonfruit better cuz it's almost the same, but the seeds are tiny and soft like kiwi seeds.

I can get them cheap here at the asian markets. I'm actually growing some too, but I think they take like 3 years till they'll produce. I'll send you one when they do. It is also a type of cactus fruit, but from a vining cactus

I went this weekend and bought 12 lbs of prickly pears, the cashier looked at me like I was crazy lol then she asked what I did with them and I said make juice, margarita's or just eat the tunas (that's what the fruit inside is called) and then she said "well us Mexicans just eat them " like really no shit us white people eat them that way as well.
It annoys me when people throw race out there for no reason

I was having a fantastic morning until that employee rubbed me the wrong way and then I also almost got hit on my bicycle by a dumbass driving half way in the bike lane.
I just don't deal with stupidity well, at all.

i love that interaction.
that dude sounds like a dummy, viva. i have to go to my brother's viewing today before he is cremated. i was on the fence about if i was going to go but i guess i should. i might take some of my dad's anxiety meds though because seeing my brother's dead body..well. yeah.
after that i want to try to have a somewhat normal day and mow the lawn or something.

Sorry to hear about your brother. My brother committed suicide several years ago. I wasn't able to make it to his memorial, but memorials are just a thang really. It's your memories that are the more important thing.
Have you ever tried a kumquat?

I'll never forget seeing my first Aikido teacher laying on a slab being pushed into the incinerator. Pretty intense shit.
