Haircut tomorrow

Hey shroomery this might seem stupid to many but I've been growing my hair for a little over 3 years now. It goes about a little above mid back and I love it and certain ladies love it too, it's just getting to the point where taking care of it is a serious hassle like taking 2-3 hours to fully dry and brushing it, not to mention the knots. Washing it seems like a chore and I've decided tomorrow I will be cutting it to a little more then 4 or so inches above my shoulders. You know getting it styled. I'm a little worried that I might not like it and it will just feel like a really weird change and I might miss it. Can any shroomery members who use to have long hair that made the transition back to short hair say they don't regret it. The only thing that makes me want to cut it is I think about the women and the fact I'm donating what is chopped off, but I'm still kinda scared.

I cut my hair every 2 to 3 years. Grow it long and buzz it off. Ladies do love it and I'm nervous every time. But as soon as I cut it, I'm like why didn't I do that sooner as it's so much easier to manage. Dr bronners soap from top to bottom. 3 minute showers. Plus, you'll find a whole new type of girls that dig you. And the cops won't look at you. Change is good.

That's what I keep telling myself thanks for the words of wisdom I'm not buzzing it I'm styling the shit out of it but it will be significantly shorter none the less.

I had hair down to my nips a couple of months ago, but now its mostly shaved. I don't regret it as I have had fairly long hair for most of my life. If you are worried about the ladies I think having confidence in who you are as a person and how you treat others is more important than hair.

Yeah, especially for work or even simple things like eating dinner, when you have to put it back or else you can't see / you will have hair in your food.

yeah I can relate. I love having hair on my head and just letting it grow. During the summer though if I do anything physical, especially wearing a hat, I start dripping mad sweat. Thats the only reason I would want it short. Just remember it grows back in no time.

Sounds about as long as mine. Use conditioner and take a shower daily. Unless you are homeless that shouldn't be hard. Tie it back and let it dry on it's own or buy one of those magical devises calles a hair dryer.

My hair was much longer back in my early 20's, tell ya what though, it's a love hate relationship. The lady loves it long but I do miss cutting it with an electric trimmer every month or two, or three.... Kinda lazy on that.
Justr call salons and ask about donating your hair, they will probably do it for free.
I might do that before next Summer.

I was rappelling into a cave about ten years ago and got my hair caught in the descender. Not cool. I cut it the next day. I just buzz mine because it's curly, so when it comes back in I don't need to style it. Lucky I guess. I buzzed mine about 8 months ago, so I'm now starting the pain in the ass mid stage. Time for a hair cut in 2 years.

That's how the wife talked me into growing my hair out again. To lazy/fifn't care to buzz it and then it got to that stage.... Fuck that stage. I remember in 9th grade on the bus having my hair whip me in the eyes with those windows open.

I tend to go through cycles where I'll grow it long (down to my nipples or so) then cut it shorter. I like to keep some length, but lately have been debating cutting it quite short.. I do agree with the women part. I find that certain women like long hair but they aren't nearly as common as ones that like shorter hair, and often the ones that do prefer long hair tend to be fine with shorter hair as well.
Ultimately, I always cut it because I'm fed up with taking care of it; the attention from different/more women is a bonus. I do get somewhat fond of my long hair though.. But so far haven't regretted it after having it cut.

I get a haircut every 1 or 2 months so people will take me seriously as a professional.
I am also not above a manicure and a nicer watch.

God, I hated that stage. So fucking obnoxious and there's literally nothing to do about it. This is part of why I haven't cut my hair in 12 years. I know I'll just want to grow it out again and I don't want to deal with that shit again.

The mid stage fucking blows. I have always worked for myself, so making money has never been a problem with hair long or short.
