Well I had a cake in the fridge for about almost 48 hours now, and the CAKE, looks great


but I must ask , was this risky(contams??)

it "SEEMS" that the cake looks great, I am droping it in a fruiting chamber right now


what do you think???

My friend has kept colonized substrates in the fridge for months. It's no problem.

My friend threw his in the fridge to dunk and they froze, he's gonna try fruiting them, do you think they are still good?

I heard of someone that had their jars freeze when dunking.
Heard the cakes did ok afterwards.

Depends on what you mean by froze. I had some that had some light icing on the outside of the cake that did fine and some that froze pretty bad on the outer skin of the cake and all the spots that froze contamed cause the myc was dead. I just cut off the contamed parts and they flushed 4 or so times.
