Yeah I don't think answering yes to any of those questions would make someone arrogant.

I tend to blend into the crowd but I spend a huge amount of my time volunteering to help others so in that respect I think pretty highly of myself. (Just completed 180 hours of training to volunteer and I'm starting to TA this semester which is taking up a huge chunk of my time) I also do pretty well academically as long as I put in enough effort.

You have to make yourself great. You can't just claim you're great and it'll be true but you're the only person who can actually make yourself great.

I'm always told that I tend to beat myself up and put myself down but I don't notice it I just think I'm being very honest. I don't think I'm a great person but I do think I have good... parts? Points? Features? Don't know what you'd call them. But I do have good bits, you know what I mean I can't explain it very well at 10 to midnight.

Like I think I'm kind, caring and extremely loyal. I value fairness highly and have a strong feeling of equality, one of the phrases I hate is "life is unfair" because people usually just use it as an excuse to do unfair things. Life doesn't have to be as unfair as some people make it, sure there are things you can't control but there are also some things you can control. I never want anyone left out or forgotten in a situation, or to not get their share in a group sharing, or to otherwise be singled out and treated differently just because they don't quite fit in or something daft like that.

I think I'm quite empathetic and tolerant of people to the stage where I sacrifice my own feelings. I'm very slow to feel resentment and very quick to forgive, always have been and I think a lot of people took advantage of that and I let them because I liked to see happiness in others. I've always found my own emotions change quickly with the emotions of others around me, like I can feel what they're feeling. I do feel like rather than a fault this is a quality that I simply have had no guidance in grasping, but if I could master it I could do a lot of good with it.

It's weird though because I would sometimes switch to shutting others out and being very cold and withdrawn but this came and went sporadically. Maybe my mind just needed down-time.

I don't think these things make me 'great' but rather 'well-meaning'. I make terrible mistakes, get into arguments, run away from problems, get lazy sometimes and give into temptations just like any average person. I don't think anyone is greater than another because greatness suggests being something bigger than not great, either in size or in concept. So IMO we're all a little great, a little not so great and a big bit of in-between.

This has nothing to do with arrogance. It has to do with how you perceive yourself and if you're happy with the person you are. Being a great person doesn't mean in a global sense or anything like that. You can be brilliant, inspiring, and wise but only effect that small number of people you come into contact with.

Do you feel like you are above average in terms of character, intellect, charisma etc?

Are you very memorable to the people you meet?

Do you blend in with the crowd or stick out?

Just curious about how you guys perceive yourself!

I personally think I have an extraordinary character, strong leadership qualities, and a genuine likability.

Character? No. I'm not a scumbag but my character isn't extra-ordinary..
Intellect? No. For years, since I was a young child, people would always tell me how smart I was. I was foolish enough to believe it at the time, but now I see I'm not any smarter than average.
Charisma? No. I'm fucking awkward.
Am I memorable? Not particularly... maybe a little bit more than most, but not for good reasons necessarily.
I blend with the crowd, and I perceive myself as below average in all the fields I actually care about.
