Then, using the analogy of an overrated movie with K. Reeves? :smirk:

Honestly, that was just one out of thousands of examples where you can see how bad America has gotten.

I think it was a poor example, esp coupled with a Hollywood movie analogy.

In relation to the rest of the world, the US and Canada are nearly indistinguishable.

I'm perma-grimacing all day long at the tv, but I think that's because basic cable tv sucks.

Not because the American people are 'stupid'...(compared to who??) Maybe we just disagree here.

Uh, I never made fun of American's obsession with media,:uhoh: and even if I did a 'refrence' to that media would seem to be part and parcel of my making fun of it, no? I'm all about ripping people for no good reason, but it helps if you're actually making sense.

Most kids are liberals these days. Especially those who goes to college and university (which is most). They'll out live both you and me. It appears the liberals will rule the future of most countries in the world. Conservatism always seems to be a phase every 20 years. The midlife crisis of politics (badly needed though).

until they grow up, then they become conservatives

unless they're retarded, then they'll run for public office

Do you really think most liberals grow up and become conservatives? That they just find god and suddenly trade one set of beliefs for another, slightly less rational one?

People will grow up and become conservative when they learn about all the successful conservative nations.

NOW is your time to shine. You've got 4 GREAT reasons to use the big green machine and you haven't done it yet. You guys need a reason to justify the military budget, you should jump on one of them. You would look like the good guys again.

with all the liberal pansies crying about the human rights of egyptians and
syrians you'd believe they'd be volunteering to fly over there and fight
for the shit themselves... where are they, why arent you there since you've
brought it up

If we were to be there we would need the support of the rest of the planet to have a big enough force to make a change. Plus, were more into humanitarian help in the post-war

You guys have enough fire power on your own and only need the decision of one man. Much easier.

Eh no. There are layers and layers of bureaucracy, and between the dems and repubs butting heads on 90% of policies not a lot gets passed.
If we only needed the decision of one man it'd be a dictatorship, it's actually a democracy... well, not a democracy, but a constitutional republic. Still not a dictatorship though.
