Hey everyone, this is my first post here my names chuck.. found this site very interesting and have been viewing for a few months. I am not an experienced shroomer but had some awesome hiking/snowboarding experiences on mushrooms. Psychedelics have always been a fascinating curiosity of mine. So I am living in Alaska and after a week long rain, these mushrooms are popping up everywhere. I am on the Kenai peninsula so the climate here is pretty wet and green.. Anyway here are some pics of mushrooms I have found during a 5 minute walk from my house, Im wondering if any of these could be psychoactive? Anyway I appreciate any information or possible IDs on these thanks in advance!

Nice finds man, the second photo looks like Amanita muscaria which is psychoactive, wait for a second opinion on that though

Welcome to shroomery, nice photo's
You should wait for a TI for ID's. The second picture is Amanita muscaria. You might want to look for Psilocybin mushrooms.
Alaska Gymnopilus sp. Panaeolus cinctulus Panaeolus fimicola Psilocybe cyanescens

Happy hunting

Thanks for the replies! Yeah the red ones are everywhere and I realize they are Amanita muscarias now and slightly poisonous.. Read some trip reports seem to be heavy experiences yet to the observer they are convulsing and foaming at the mouth.. shit not trying to jump into that just yet haha but definitely interesting. I am wondering about the mushrooms in pics 1, 4 and 6.. There's a lot of pics online and on this board that resemble them to psilocybe cyanescens. Not trying to jump to far ahead here and in all likelyhood they are probably nothing close. oh, There's also a mulch/manure patch close by that has hundreds of shrooms popping out of it and at least 15 different varieties.. Would love to hear some of your takes on that, Ill snap some shots tomorrow. Looked like I had hit a gold mine but had no idea what I was looking at. don't know anything about shrooms other than eating them but definitely want to learn. Thanks for reading though Ill keep researching and try to get more pics up soon. And thanks for the welcome glad to be here!

Try comparing #3 to armillaria? Looks like that's at the base of an oak?
-------------------- "Shrub, 30-90 cm. Leaves 2.5-) 4-9 cm, sessile or amplexicaul, broadly ovate to ovate-oblong, obtuse or rounded to subapiculate or subacute, when crushed not smelling of goats." "The initial quake was a 6.6 but fairly shallow. I felt it as a prolonged up and down vibration followed by a jolt forward and then to the left, like square dancing."

I also noticed a resemblence in pictures 1 and 4 to Psilocybe cyanescens but didn't want to get your hopes up. Next time check for blue bruising and take spore prints if you find mushrooms similar to those pics. Great job out there, I'm look forward to more seeing more of your finds from Alaska
