to vote or not to vote
    #1875317 - 09/02/03 09:09 PM (14 years, 4 months ago)

hypothetical question:

on the occasion that you've made it to the voting booth
and are reading the literature for the first time, having
not completed the prerequisite reading in the sample
ballot and you come to an issue that you neither care
about nor have a strong feeling either way based on
the information at hand...

do you:
abstain from voting on that measure
reread and force yourself to vote one way or another
flip coin, roshambo or eenie meenie miney moe.

I am curious, this has happened to me and I did not vote
on the measure. I figured people with more vested in the
issue will surely vote their will, but part of me wonders if
I should have voted if not only to counteract the moron
out there that flipped a coin and picked the 'wrong'.

(ps. I was young, in college, it was a miracle I even got my vote in)

There is no dark side of the moon really... Matter of fact, it's all dark.
