Is it safe to pressure cook these jars in my house or no?

I have some jars that have been sitting out by the compost for awhile now, months. They're filled with brown rain water at this point and originally were probably contaminated or something, I can't even remember. I was going to soak them in bleach outside for awhile, rinse them, and then bring them inside to pressure cook (loading them into the pressure cooker outside). Is this safe or would I risk releasing a bunch of spores into my house by pressure cooking them?

Just PC them, no bleach.
Pc them, then dump and wash with soap and water.

Sure it kills everything, but it also releases a bunch of steam which can contain spores in the process, even before it reaches 1psi. Am I misunderstanding something?

If the jars have filters on the lids that stop contams from coming in, there will be no spores coming out.

They do, but the lids are rusted to hell at this point having sat in the rain. I guess I could just replace the lids and bring them in to PC, but at that point I might as well just clean them outside.

bleach does not kill mold, you would have to find something around the house that says it kills mold and then use that to clean them out before putting them in the PC if you are worried that the steam could contaminate your house

Sounds like too much work and hassel
I would start over. Get plastic lids to avoid rust.

Just dump them and bring them in and wash them real good with soapy water. Then run them through the dishwasher or PC them. You won't put any more spores in the air than already exists. It's really not a big deal.
Buy new lids.

I have plenty of extra lids, I'm not worried about those, I'd just like to save the jars for canning purposes, which is likewise why I want to be sure they're clean. Also bleach does kill mold, bleach is a perfectly good chemical to sanitize things with, this is a common misconception because it's easy to use it incorrectly. To sanitize something with bleach it much be at a 10% concentration or higher (that is 1 part bleach to 9 parts water) and it must remain on the pathogen for at least 10 minutes. Most people either use an incorrect ratio or more likely simply wipe things down with bleach, you have to actually let it soak, and if it starts to dry up before the 10 minutes are up you must reapply it. Just google it, there's plenty of resources, it likely even says it on the back of the bottle, but people assume they know what they're doing so they don't read it.
edit: Here's a good explanation of how and when to use bleach. For our purposes, that is sanitizing glass, plastics, and metals, bleach is just fine. It's not recommended because it's not ideal for the reasons I stated above, and as far as metal goes it can corrode it, but so long as you know what you're doing it will do the job as well as fire. If you have any reason to believe otherwise please let me know because bleach combined with simple soap (not at the same time mind you) are my two go to cleaning supplies when it comes to mycology work (as well as fire ). If I'm wrong though I'd really like to know so I don't waste the chemicals or effort.

i was under the impression that pc'ing doesn't completely sterilize, but gives you a few weeks before endospores/contams can germinate.

The air is filled with contaminants and spores anyways, what might be released during the process doesn't matter because you're pulling those jars out into dirty air regardless. Disinfect the area before you pull them out, and wash them real good before using them. If you ended up using them for spawn at some point you'd just PC them again with lids and filters anyways.

I was going to use them for food storage or simply drinking glasses, but yeah, more or less the same principles.
