I have always been good at expressing myself, either with written word or through conversation. I have also had various experiences that most would consider tin foil material. I have always had the feeling I was destined for something bigger than myself

-I'm told I'm really original and good with my music/guitars/recording
-I'm told I'm extremely good at sex. Judging from the results I've had, I tend to believe.
-I know I can eat pussy better than any man. True story. I'm so confident I can say something that outrageous
-I'm a good cook. I rarely follow recipies and come up with great dishes
-I'm good at back breaking labour. I've never been outworked by another man in a grueling labour setting. People have thought I'm a freak of nature by what I've been able to do As I get older, this trait is disappearing as I start to fall apart.
-I'm good at making mixes when it comes to music. People eagerly await my various cds which I spend sometimes months on. It's also the reason my friends as we get older and start to get married, ask me to be the DJ at their wedding
-I'm good at cheering people up. A lot of people, even people I'm not close to, can find it easy to lean on me
-I'm good at picking up on emotions. Very intuitive I guess you could say.

That's not true at all and you know it. I think this is a really good thread because it forces you to think about the things you are good at. I usually hate these kinds of questions because I always struggle to come up with anything. But it is a nice little boost of confidence to tell yourself that you ARE good at something, even if it is some little thing that seems insignificant to you. Someone else may read what you wrote and say wow that is awesome, I wish I was good at that.
And everybody has faults. Can't have the good without the bad.

Yea I'm my own biggest critic, so I'll boast a bit about the things I'm good at I guess
@ Masked's list - I think I'm somewhat a jack-of-all-trades master of none too.. kinda. In some ways my list is similar to yours
I think I'm particularly good at:
-my job -driving -writing -seeing typos almost instantly -listening to people -staying away from drama and out of trouble -throwing stuff (football/baseball) -thinking critically and understanding stuff

I'm not a very awesome person to be honest. I have many faults.
Reminds me a lot of myself! I'm only a little different. To elaborate...
-I'm told I'm really unoriginal and the only time I tried to learn an instrument I didn't do so well and eventually gave up
-I've never gone down on anybody
-I'm a good cook. If you consider microwaving a burrito and making it burst open and spill into my overflowing ramen with too much chicken flavor good cooking.
-I think I'm good at back breaking labor, but whenever I do it, I fuck something up, I sprain an ankle or cause property damage. I've often been outworked by another man in a grueling labor setting. People have not been impressed by what I've been able to do As I get older, this trait becomes more and more evident.
-I am good at listening to music, or so I think. A lot of people don't like my taste in music.
-I don't know how to cheer people up most of the time, unless they're one of the few people I know pretty well. Even then I can suck at it sometimes.
-I can sometimes be bad at reading emotions. Well not really, but if I had to pick between being good or being bad, I'd probably be leaning towards being bad.
-I waste money on pointless shit like ice cream a lot.
-I'm a jackass of all trades
I'm not a very awesome person to be honest. I have many faults.
So yes I guess we share the last one!

This is a really difficult question for me. For most average people whatever they're good at there's someone who's probably 100X better at it. So is good being used relative here? Does good just mean you're competent, but a step above your local peers in that skill?
I guess then that would mean I'm very good at illustrative art, probably better than it than expressive. However not being a very artsy person I don't really keep any of my work and I tend to produce it with the cheapest materials I find lying around, like an old sticky note and a half run-out pen.
Probably the best quality artworks I have produced are of fictional yet realistic alternate reality animals (pencil & photoshop), pictures of planets, stars and nebulae (photoshop tricks, not a lot of skill involved there) or that one painting I made of a nebula when I went through a kratom phase (acrylic on canvas). It's really good actually for a first attempt at a hand-painted space scene if I dare say so myself.
I do wish I was skilled at something more practical though. Like joinery, I'd love to try that but if I want to afford a college course I may have to consider selling all my things and rationing my food for a year or so before I'd have saved enough money for it. It's not out of the question. I'm just too old for an apprenticeship now.

Wow, this thread really turned out awesome. I knew there was so many talented people on the shroomery..
I guess i'll elaborate a little bit more on what i'm good at because some people are doing big lists.
I really enjoy my own taste in music, and I'm awesome at finding new dope artists to show people.
I'm good at composing muisc.
I can work Ableton like the extension of my arm.
I'm decent with technology. I can fix most problems on a computer, and my iphone. shit like that.
I'm pretty smart I guess. IQ tested at 135. But I really really suck at spelling. (Tested at 95.. )
I can bullshit almost anything with ease. (slept through trig and got a B)
I can make my self sound smart about most things.
I got a 96/99 on a test to get into the army. (Not going to do that)
I'm good at taking large doses of psychedelics.
I'm good at composing myself while i'm fucked up. I've been on everything around parents, friends, etc - with out them guessing a thing.
I'm pretty good at flower/devil sticks. Especially on acid.
I'm a good sales person.
I have a big dick, so I guess i'm good at that
I can do a lot of flips on a trampoline
I can hustle. Give me a week, and I'll get you $500 out of thin air.
I'm good at expressing myself, and connecting with people.
I'm good with girls.
I'm decent at drawing.. Could be better if I practiced more..
I'm pretty social, I can make friends with almost anyone.
And I feel douchey for writing all of this, but that's the point of the thread I guess :P There are many faults, but I still like to think I'm pretty awesome...
