Visually but especially conceptually The Neverending Story is positively great.

I could watch Neverending Story any day of the week. Also, Labyrinth. Someone mentioned older Disney movies like Aladdin, etc.  I'm on board with that.  Sometimes I'll just bust out in "Never Had a Friend Like Me"  and I know every. single. word.  They have Mulan, Hercules, Pocahontas, and Hunchback of Notre Dame on Netflix.  But that's it  :bored: I guess they have Aristocats and some way older ones...oh well.

Also, I watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail for the first time when I was like 6 and loved it.  I think it was a major contributor to the development of my very odd sense of humor.

Yup Aladdin is the shit :yesnod:

I have 4 younger brothers&sisters, so we had pretty much every Disney VHS there were at that time, and I know probably every line on every movie

Sadly, Disney has gone to shit after Mulan&Hercules :sadyes:

This movie totally does not stand up to time, but maybe it could teach you youngsters a lesson. Logan's Run. A society where everyone is euthanized on their 30th birthday in a ceremony called "carousel."

Alien. The first one from 1979 stands up very well, especially compared to most scifi.

Independence Day sucked IMO, but it might hold up.

Starship Troopers was an intentionally bad movie for a great purpose.

Me too!  I'm not really sure why I was talking about booby traps like a month ago, but I said booty trap and someone was like "Booby traps?" and I was like "That's what I said!!"

I was the only one that got it  :unwanted:
