And what I described, was supposed to be a generalization of how it works in here and not a description of my usual activities

Europe seems quite relaxed, actually. Depends on the country, they're supposed to all be standardized by the schengen agreement... but some are definitely more strict and some are definitely more relaxed. Seems to make things more confusing, actually.
UK is a hassle. US border guards are always dicks, typical asshole cop giving you the proper "welcome back to America" treatment.

OP, sorry. I don't think any country will let you immigrate with felon-on parole w/child support status.

That wall the government built at the border of Mexico. They told you it was to keep the Mexicans out, but the real pupose is to keep Americans in.

i'm perfectly legal, only on bench probation for a few more months. I just think they should pay for the lawyer if they want this information. basically the whole system is fucked and if that were the case then other people's taxes would be paying for the information which should be free since it's forced upon us. I never requested any agency to record my comings and goings. if this is a prison, then i'm breaking the fuck out and will kill or be killed trying.

I was just so pissed about hiring a lawyer that I told them to go fuck themselves and cut the woman off every time she tried to bitch back at me. it was a pretty funny conversation really, fucking homeland security and shit. fuck these stupid lines and fuck anybody's property. nobody really has ever respected anybody else in America anyway. history tells a pretty clear picture. clearly our way of doing things is not working. i'd rather be dead than be a part of this shit any longer. i'll take one more long week though at burning man, maybe i'll change my mind. stupid fucking government and their idiot workers... i'd better steer clear from the blm rangers this year. I don't want to displace my frustration onto them there.

Isn't a passport for entering another country ? I don't think it's that you can't leave the country, it's just that you are a convicted felon so they need to make sure you are suited to step foot in their (whatever country it may be) country. And I'm not aware of anywhere that you could leave without being in another country.
But I don't know jack shit about any of this at all so bleh.

What the fuck?
You can't just up and move to another country?
Will you get deported if you get on a plane, go to another country with belongings and money, and deal with immigrating there?
Why does a soon-to-be-former US citizen have to deal with red tape over here? It's a prison state.

Other countries don't want random people just moving in. It has more to do with other counties than it does the U.S.
It is not easy to become a resident in another country.

Yes, I know, but it should be the government you're going into that's interested in this, not the government of the country you're leaving. Unless such is the case.

Problem is, other countries are interested in FBI background checks if you plan on applying for any type of work or residence permit there.
There's this intermingling of networks now, so in the future your whereabouts and personal information will follow anywhere you go.
Check out this passport control system called EES. You know these little chips you have in your passport? Notice how passports are becoming more and more standardized worldwide? Same computer chips? Same formats?/i] There's a reason for this.

Still Laugh'n?

Isn't it logical that any country doesn't want ANY kind of criminal in their country?
Your on bench probation lol of course you can't get a passport. I can tell you one thing for sure though YOU DO NOT need a passport to go to Mexico, it's just getting back in you need it!! As you may want it to be we are not one big united world where you may roam as you wish. If I was you I'd be happy that I wasn't in real prison or hardcore probation.

this is most likely what i'll eventually do to get to brazil. it's a lot of borders though.
That's awesome! (The part about going to Brazil) I'm moving back down there in early October to Florianopolis after being here in the US for 20 some odd years.
As far as border hopping, I think that's a horrible idea. Getting through Centeral America and Northwest South America is a lot harder than most people think. Chances are you will get robbed or get locked up or killed along your route. Probably all 3.
You're better off just filing the correct documents for a passport and obtaining a visa in order to go to Brazil.
Just wondering, why are you interested in moving there, and what do you plan to do there to make a living?
