I just picked up some dmt and changa yesterday man. I don't think shrooms can really prepare you for dmt unless you do at least an eighth or 4 gs or more.
If I were you I'd smoke the deems while peaking on shrooms, but it's only your second time so that wouldn't be the best idea.
I'd just do the dmt when you feel like it.
Wait at least 2 weeks in between shroom trips though.

Thanks for the reply. I don't know about doing dmt on my first real shroom trip haaha, doesn't sound like a great idea. I think the anxiety of pre-dmtness would not be good. Also, I understand that nothing can properly prepare one for dmt, so why not take the plunge? Haha, at least that's my theory.

I haven't tried DMT, but my thinking is that while there's probably nothing that can prepare you for it, you could at least find out whether your personal mental threshold is well below it
I had a pretty weird experience recently on 3.5g of mushrooms (the most I've done so far) that made me realize I should definitely ease into everything past that. When you're not accustomed to altered states of consciousness I think it's easy to underestimate how drastic the effects could potentially become

What do you mean by a mental threshold?

Just how hard you can trip before you start to "freak out" or feel overwhelmed by it. I'm assuming such a threshold does exist for most people.
I definitely struggled to get through my 3.5g dose, and had some pretty alarming thoughts in the process (I'm a small person and a shroom noob). I hadn't experienced anything like that when in the 1.5g - 2.5g range. Set/setting were obviously a large part of that as well, but I'm just saying if I take 5g and have an unpleasant total meltdown, I'll know I should reconsider blasting into space with DMT.
At the same time though, many DMT stories I've heard make it sound like it's such a wild experience that you could struggle to understand what the hell even happened when it's over lol

I don't know if they relate that much, I mean the DMT is likely to be a duesy no matter what you do, and the trips are different since one is super fast the other is long, comes on slowly.
Take both in your own time, if I had them I'd probably go DMT first, shrooms second.
