Suillus species.  Not poisonous, possibly edible but most Suillus are inferior edibles.  It is safe to try and if you like the taste, you are good to go.

Even if it is actually edible I don't think anyone is going to say 'yes' to it being edible in this way.

I have heard.. edible Suillus are not bad when you peel off the slimy top and can make a sort of purree which can then be added to soup.
