Anyone over 25, what movie from your youth has held up well upon recent watching?
    #18745516 - 08/23/13 03:16 AM (10 years, 5 months ago)

Jogging through a list of movies I liked as a teen.
Half this shit is just that, shit. Not sure if movies are, in general, getting better... or I've just seen more movies and have a higher expectation, or am just an old fuck.

Terminator, the original, was fucking awesome when I was a little kid.
Now it's like...damn, that's rough. Some DIY camerawork there...

Good Fella, Edward Scissorhands, Miller's Crossing, those still stand up.
But so many cutting edge, mind blowing moves BITD , today, just don't do shit for me.

Dude, what are you talking about? Both of these movies totally hold up. It seems like your tastes have gone to shit.

Cube, Hellraiser, Alien 1, Universal soldier, Saw, Terminator 1/2/3 , good old movies :-)

The Matrix, Office Space

last 2 are essential, the first matrix is ingenious

I like hackers 1 and 2 too, but 2 is certainly best (Takedown 2000), 2 is pretty nice

I have a feeling people are just posting things they haven't seen in years but remember fondly.
Maybe I'm wrong...but that would defeat the purpose of the thread. And, that isn't allowed online.  :nono:

I did see that recently and was surprised that it was still pretty okay.
Guess 'interpersonal drama' ages well. Sometimes...
