Going out in style

I don't plan to hang around much longer after I can't wipe my own ass but I still have to worry about that tricky time after stopping work but before my meeting with Mr Reaper. I have two plans:
1. Take up heroin. Sound like fun and in the twilight years when I have little to lose?
2. This is more a fall back plan in ca1se I run out of cash before I run out of breath, but is to attempt to take someone out who really needs taking out and thereby getting myself a retirement plan at her majesties pleasure.
Can anyone come up with VIABLE alternatives that might be better?

Heroin isn't fun enough to devote the last days of your life to it. Just take up bingo, or whatever the fuck else old people do.
zappaisgod, he's old as fuck and he'll let you know how he spends his day.

Replace your flabby old body parts with robot parts and upload your mind into the singularity.

I think that needs the singularity to have been invented already, Sheldon might just live long enough to see that day but I'm not sure I'll make it.

If I were still able to travel when I get to the point OP is talking about, I'd probably just sell all my shit and just start off traveling some random country or something. Fuck I could just up and leave and start walking in one direction and just go from there, that sounds more appealing then just shooting dope and stuff.
Other option would be this

I think as an old person subjecting your body to harmful drugs is the last thing youl want to do.
I think when im old il be at peace with nature and want to do nothing but observe it. Il probably birdwatch and start a bee breeding venture with my grandson (s)/grandaughter(s)

If I am old enough not to be wiping my own arse I'm guessing my body parts will be failing at an increasing rate. If I could still travel then sure, I'd be out there, but when the options have all closed down, why not retreat inside your head?
I don't want to be staring at someone else's choice of show on tv while being kept alive until the last possible moment. When it's time to go cram in an extra experience before you do....? If you're lucky you might bring it on a little sooner.

Save up for robotic arse-wipers and nursing droids. I'm sure the Japanese will have'em ready in a few years.
Go wild with all the drugs you've ever wanted to take but were too scared of potential long term consequences. You'll be living in the short term by definition at that point.
Find yourself a nice young hooker or two and a lot of Viagra, and just enjoy the sick old pervert activities. Consider relocating to South America for this, I hear everything's cheaper, things like mescaline and Ayahuasca and such available at the regular market, probably cocaine is much easier to find as well, should be pretty interesting.
If you want to take someone out, just aim for some Monsanto people or arms dealers, or some of these parasites living off the bs fiat currency. See who needs to be made an example of and go to town.
-------------------- Blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear.
For truly, I say to you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it. - Matthew 13:16
